1.)Don't do anything stupid, expecting not to get killed. This is not like the game where a thousand guys versus one, will win. If you decide, "Hey! You know what's a great idea? Im going to kill everyone in the town." you're probably going to die.
A Little Bit Of Backstory
When the Stormcloaks beat the Imperials in war, they thought that the bloodshed was over. But when they murdered General Tulius and ended the Empire they unlocked a wraith they did not foresee. For with the Empire's presence out of Skyrim, the Gold and White Concordat was no longer sustainable. Thus the Second Great War began. The Thalmor vs. the Stormcloaks. War ravaged and riddled the land. Blood glistening on the snow, soldiers march to what is their improbable doom.
Subplots
The Reach: A native uprising which was once believed to be squashed, has arisen again. Because the leader of the Forsworn, Madonach, has escaped from Cidna Mine, the Forsworn camps have adjoined to take back the Reach. The more the time passes the more sieges are led against Markarth. The guards are deflecting them so far... But how long can they keep it up?
The Rift: With the Thieves Guild alive again, they are feared through out the Rift. And it's no secret, that Maven Blackbriar is backed by them. She is corrupt with power, and plots against the Jarl have sprung in her mind. Meanwhile along the borders of the Rift, rouge Imperials have been attacking from across the border in Cyrodil, trying to reclaim what was once theirs.
Eastmarch: Due to being the Central force in the military campaign against the Thalmor, it is heavily under attack. None of the attacks come close to Windhelm, but it does concern Ulfric. Even so, Windhelm is having problems. It's been a sort of Holocaust for the Dark Elves. Their windows are being smashed, some shops even burnt to the ground. It's safe to say, it's not a good time for the Gray Quarter.
Haafingar: With the Empire gone the East Empire Company Warehouse has been shutdown, and recently been inhabited by a band of cutthroats. But because of this supplies have been low in Solitude. Also the Thalmor send navy from Summerset Isle to attack the ports of Solitude. In recent months a few ports and farms in the area have been burned down, resulting in more shortages. The Thalmor intend to cut of food supply to Haafingar and it seems to be working.
Winterhold: This area of Skyrim is being occupied by the Thalmor. Because of this the Mage's College members are being drafted into the Thalmor army against their will.
Hjaalmarch: The hold has been having problems with certain vampires. Nobody knows who to trust. So they turn to their Jarl. Who in turn does nothing.
Rules
2.)I know this isn't advanced, but people this isn't free roleplay. I know you may not have a lot of time, but try to get in at least one paragraph.
Use correct spelling. It annoys the shit out of me when people write like this: " Wen r u goien two posst teh iC?"
3.)Swearing is allowed, just not every word.
4.)Try to be interactive with other players. Cooperate to make an interesting story. I'd love to see characters paths intertwine, so don't be completely isolated from each other.
5.)No godmodding. You should not be able to get hit by an axe, and then use a power attack or something. As for Character Godmodding, I'm pretty open to most armors, just don't be ridiculous. For example to start out your character has motherf*cking Daedric Armor.
6.)Basically all forum rules apply as well.

This will be a brief message. Just try to keep things creative. Try to think out of the box when making a character. For instance he could be corrupt. Don't stay in the set lines there are. Anyways good luck making your character.

Is it okay to tweak the alteration school a bit? I want to make a mage scholar who is sorta like fullmetal alchemist. I plan on mixing alchemy and alteration to create pretty much a magic blacksmith of sorts
^Oh yes! In fact I encourage to stray from the past and think outside the box.

Also you don't have to just have stuff that isn't from Skyrim. You can have javelins, flails, maces, spears, that sort of stuff. They may not have been in the elder scrolls game, but they're all fair game.
Do you plan on locking off certain roles that could potentially be 'too powerful' such as the Listener of the Dark Brotherhood or the Harbinger or are they fair game for anyone willing to put forth the effort? Also, where would the Dark Brotherhood base be located - in Falkreath as it was originally or Morthal?

It's been a terribly long time since I've been here and I'm truly sorry for any roleplays I inadvertently dropped. Health issues had put a rather abrupt stop to my internet browsing. I'm hoping it won't be that way again.
They are all fair game! The only ones off limits are Jarls and Dragonborn. As for where the Dark Brotherhood would be located, I say the old one. All the characters are still there. This roleplay takes place in a universe where Tiber Uriel was never assasinated. Of course he could be later on... Just sayin.' Which reminds me, I may make a corrupt Penitilus Occulus agent.
Name : Dreveni Telandas
Age : 74 (appears 25)
Race : Dunmer / Dark Elf
Role : Listener of the Dark Brotherhood
Weapons : Her prized sword, a resilient and beautiful silver blade. Two sharpened daggers are also, more often than not, placed tightly underneath her wrists in her armor to pull out quickly and when necessary.
Armor : When on missions, Dreveni wears Shrouded Dark Brotherhood Robes. Otherwise, she lounges in rather sharply carved steel armor, her silver threads tied up lazily at the crown of her head, happy to be free from constraint. Unless she is wearing her robes, Dreveni does not wear any sort of head gear.
Misc : Scroll of Fireball, Potion of Minor Healing (x2)
Skills : Sneak, One-handed, Destruction
Fighting Style : Prefering to use the shadows in her favour, direct battle is not Dreveni's cup of tea. Her ability to go undetected is bested by none (that she believes), and her battle stance is more often than not not a battle stance at all but a dance of which her opponent knows not - her sword spills their blood before they even realise she is hanging atop their canopy bed, has been for hours for the perfect moment to strike. Of course this isn't always the way it goes - when you are the prey being tracked, it's much easier to dispatch your enemy with a precisely aimed fireball or a blade through the chest. Messier, but it still gets its job done and it's almost as fun as the former - not as silent, but just as deadly. Because of her mobile fighting style, defense is not one of Dreveni's top priorities - after all, you'd have to know she was there to attack her.
History : Dreveni Telandas was born to a pair of rather fussy, minor nobles stranded on Solstheim during their trip back to Blacklight from Skyrim. Her birth was at a time when the mines were still overflowing with ebony in Raven Rock and her miser father noticed this, immediately ordering his wife that they would, after all, not be heading back to Morrowind as they had planned. As expected, the Dunmer woman was horrified and threw an absolute fit at the idea - still, her husband was set on the idea of staying on Solstheim. Ebony is a major trade, he assured his wife, we will stay but a year or two to scrape this filthy island dry of its gold and then we'll be off, much richer for the time, and won't those Sandris who live next door be absolutely furious that they didn't seize the opportunity?
Still, while Dreveni's father could see money for what it was worth, he hadn't the slightest idea of how to get it and not a bit of business acumen in his body. After all, he was a noble, although minor, and his money was inherited, not made.

Name: Roinir Tarhie
Age: 27
Race: Male Bosmer (Wood Elf), (Lycanthropy, managed and under control for most part)
Appearance: Roinir features a highly rigid face that seems to hide years of experience in dangerous situations. He has red eyes, and highly straight angular eyebrows. Long black hair that stretches just beyond his shoulders obscuring his long wood elf ears. A tribal tattoo is located on his left eye and is highly noticeable due to its crimson red colour. His face seems to tell the story of a man who despite a young age has seen far more than many do in their lifetime. Roinir is tall for one of his race, with the height of 185.9 cm accompanied by a weight of 85.7 kg. His body is one that is fit for adventure, and the aura around him seems to be fit a man who is highly preoccupied with the maintenance of his own health.
(I do apologize for the poor quality of this picture, as I do not have a capture card for my Xbox 360 and am too lazy to repurchase the game for PC)
Role: Roinir's role in the land of Skyrim is somewhat ambiguous having attempted normal vocations ranging from Cook to fishermen and having been unable to find satisfaction in those careers Roinir sought his fortunes elsewhere. Adventuring did not begin immediately but rather happen intermittently as he became more and more bold about the odd jobs in which he would accept. Predominantly he sees himself as a high class wanderer despite the fact that the predominant view is as wanderers are anything but high class.
Weapons: Two ebony swords (legendary) sharpened to perfection, one ebony bow ( legendary) tuned to perfection with accompanying arrows (X25).
Armor: Ebony battle armour ( complete set) forged with great care over many days and nights by a blacksmith who skills were great but whose price was even greater.
Misc. : Basic assortment of adventuring essentials ( lock picks, health potions, torches, various food supplies,)
Skills: Extremely proficient in archery ( like most of his kinsman), good at one-handed combat, and moderately proficient in lock picking and sneaking.
Fighting Style: Prefers to use his bow provide an opening volley then proceeds into one-handed combat in order to deal his enemies a deadly blow.
Bio/History: Born in the home province of his people Roinir lived a typical childhood for someone of his race. He had loving parents and did not experience any overt tragedy in his life. This is perhaps what led him to become bored with his existence, it was initially expected that you'd become one of the great scholars of Valenwood however vested not come to pass. Like most things in his life the method in which you chose to leave his home was eccentric, in broad daylight he simply walked out of his village to the nearest large city purchased the necessary travel arrangements and headed north. As a child his father had taught him the basic rules for survival, such as trapping and hunting animals using a sword and using a bow. It is with this skill set that he was able to make his way to Skyrim, unfortunately his first few days in the frozen land that he was prepared to call his new home were not the most pleasant. On his first day he was robbed on a main road between Riften and Falkreath despite being only moderately wounded the perpetrators left him for dead, clearly they had very little medical knowledge about what it took to actually kill an individual. However, this was not the end of what one would consider a very bad day and perhaps a very bad introduction to this northern land. While stumbling to find any signs of civilization Roinir was attacked, he did not know what this animal was but it was large and appear to be a wolf, a wolf it looks strangely human or some type of human since there are so many. He managed to fight the animal off ( at least that's what he told himself) in reality it is more than likely that the animals simply lost interest or was scared away by a more fearsome opponent who he sensed nearby. Despite this he managed to make it to one of the large settlements in the province Falkreath. Were he stopped the proper medical assistance, his wounds were treated and he was sent on his way having decided not to discuss with anyone in the town his encounter with the animal. He had been taught the discussion of such things might arouse suspicion and put one's personal safety in jeopardy. This decision of course did come back to haunt him on the trail he found himself having blackouts could remember walking one moment and find himself in a completely different area and it being hours later the next, whether or not his clothing was present seem to occur randomly. After subtly consulting several individuals whom claimed to have knowledge about such things Roinir decided that he had two options, he could either take his own life or learn to control what is happening to him. Having chosen the latter he spent several days in isolation attempting to find out how to control what many refer to as the inner beast. Having consulted a mage in Solitude he was given a pendant that was designed to control the animalistic urges that individuals feel, despite not being designed specifically for his problems Roinir decided that this would be an ample solution as he had no desire to seek out the dark gods. His solution worked and he sat on his way. After several months in the northern land of Skyrim he had finally gotten what seemed to be some footing his "problem" was under control and no one seems to be the wiser. Taking odd jobs here and there and finally setting one upon being someone who's made a career of doing odd jobs Roinir still aspires to have a grand adventure and is waiting for such an opportunity to present itself.
(I apologize to for any I typos, as I'm still attempting to train my Dragon Dictate software. Also it is six in the morning so that is also working against me, I hope this is sufficient I will check back after I'm done at the gym see later everybody)
