Most games made by Bethesda are pretty awesome and feature customisation?
I'd suggest the Elder scrolls series or Fallout series as they are fairly amazing.
Let me start by stating what I lkike from a game.
I tend to favor games with a lot of cosmetic customization. I like to have things like hair color, eyes, armors and clothing appearing exactly how I want. The third, fourth and fifth games ion the Soul Calibur series, as well as the Saints Row series have satisfied this need for a while now, but I want more and can't seem to find anything decent.
As for the game's genre, I will play anything. Literally anything. I do not avoid any particular gameplay styles or things of that nature. The graphicla quality of the game also does not matter to me all that much. As long as it's enjoyable (which is, admittedly, subjective), I will be fine with it.
I understand both Japanese and English fluently as of this posting, so I can also play untranslated games just fine.
I do apologize if I have misused any words here, or come off as a bit demanding in my request for suggestions, but a bit of help would be lovely.

Looking for games with some Customization? No problem.
Well the first game, or series I will suggest is the Mass Effect Trilogy, all three games are very enjoyable, have some great missions, and some good character development.
Secondly, I'd suggest Dragon Age: Origins, and Dragon Age 2, a lot of people like to criticize 2 for not being enough like Origins(and true, there are a few gripes I have with it too) bot nonetheless I'd recommend both.
Dragon's Dogma is another game I CAN'T STRESS ENOUGH to recommend to people. It's great, Capcom's first attempt at a Western style RPG? and it's great, plus you get the option to change class mid game, and then if you save up, can unlock an option in which you edit your characters whenever you want. You only get one save though.
Kingdoms of Amalur:Reckoning is the last game I recommend. Another great game with a fun, and surprisingly deep combat system. Shame this game will never get a sequel.
" Careful now. We don't want to get blood all over your pretty white cloak. "
Elder Scrolls IV if you love to customize your character.
“Enemies of the Imperium, hear me. You have come here to die. The Immortal Emperor is with us and we are invincible. His soldiers will strike you down. His war machines will crush you under their treads. His mighty guns will bring the very sky crashing down upon you. You cannot win. The Emperor has given us his greatest weapon to wield. So make yourselves ready. We are the Imperial Guard, and your doom is upon you. "
Fallout is pretty sweet, I second it.
"It's my business if I feel the need
to smoke and drink and sway."
Skyrim. Great customization and there is so much replayability aspect. Also you can choose how you play the game: a bandit, an assasin, or a law abiding citizen?
^Props to AmongHeroes and Lillian Thorne for my GFX.
The Witcher series, not really that customisable...You can change your hairstyle to some degree. The games mainly focus on a dark and mature narrative -- My favourite Rpg series to date.
