Fire in the Skies RULES and CP

    Rules

    1. This is a Survival and Action RP. I am encouraging violence in this forum. I want to see plenty of alien skulls shatter and I want to see plenty of enemy plasma tearing human flesh. However, NO AUTO HITTING AND NO AUTO KILLING!!! I can not stress that enough.

    2. This is an Alien Apocalypse. You are surviving elements most human beings couldn't survive....BUT THIS DOESN'T MAKE YOU SUPERMAN!!! You are not indestructible. If you get shot in the face, YOU DIE!

    3. This is a Literate RP, I will not have text talk in here. However, if your character says something like text talk for instance:

Is acceptable. However, when you character isn't speaking, Text Talk is forbidden. I want a minimum of 1 paragraph per post. I consider a paragraph 3 to 4 sentences. Detail is highly encouraged. I like detail and so do most RPers.

    4. We might be in a situation where everyone is dying but that doesn't mean you can't find love in it. I think you can see where this is going. Kissing and Hugging yes! Stripping down and knocking boots? Take it somewhere else. I don't care how necessary it is, either time skip or take it somewhere else.

    5. Alright, this one regards weapons and gasoline. The RP will be starting off when people are evacuating, gasoline and ammo is going to be pretty scarce but isn't impossible. The army is going to have most of the ammo. Now alien weapons will be abundant so if your running low on ammo and NEED a gun, grab an alien's rifle. And if all else fails? Improvise.

    6. Please have fun. I realize no one likes rules but I only do it so it's fair for everyone else. Just use some common sense and everything will be enjoyable for everyone.

Background: Shante had always been large for her sex, since she was a toddler. Her parents, concerned, took her to many physicians, who all seemed to concur it wasn't anything out-of-the-ordinary, simply variation within people. The parents were relieved, and settled down in Motana, in a quaint town, Valier, where her father's grandparents had lived. Her father worked as a mountain guide, a passion his daughter soon developed a liking for. By age sixteen, she had successfully scaled Mount Cowen alone, after a month of preparation.

Following in her father's footsteps, she became a mountain guide, a popular one too, as her thrill and awe of the mountains was obvious in her job, giving the tours a very personal experience. It was on one of these tours she met her future husband, due to a rock slide incident. The man refused to let a simple 'thank you' suffice for her saving his life, and it went from there.

Four years later, when she was twenty-five, her and her husband had moved to a country house, many miles out from any civilization. They were raising a daughter and a son, all the while still feeding both their passions, Shante's with mountain climbing and her husband's dendrology. Her son took after her father in his love for trees, but their daughter seemed content to stay inside and draw, making up entire worlds as she did so. However, as it is with all life, tragedy struck. In one of her yearly check-ups, she was discovered to have breast cancer in stage four, and went under severe chemo therapy to rid her body of the disease. Forced to move into a city, she was miserable. She missed the mountains, the energy, seeing her children and raising them with her husband. The doctors told her she had little to no chance of living.

After two years of fighting, she came out on top, but her views had changed significantly. She had decided to devote all of her free time to supporting the cancer research foundation, hoping no one would ever have to endure what she and many other women had to. Though Shante could no longer scale the peaks of The Treasure State, she was content with staying at home, raising two children and supporting her husband and the Cancer Research Foundation. She had also stuck with the no hair chemo therapy had brought her, a way of signifying her devotion to the cause. Little to her knowledge, her husband had quite the surprise planned.

He had been secretly saving, for a decade, for a trip to the Himalayas, so that she could scale Mount Everest. Needles to say, when she found out, she was beyond ecstatic. Though she regretted leaving her children, her husband, and the cause behind, her husband convinced her she needed a break. And she took it, without hesitation.

When she returned, however, was when the extraterrestrials struck. And her city was among the victims, being wiped out hours before she arrived. It broke her, to the core. Guilt wracked her entire being, and if it weren't for the note her husband left behind, she would have taken her own life. He left her a small arsenal of illegal weaponry he had been acquiring and modifying for his entire life, since his father bestowed upon him. The amount of ammo was lack luster, and while she was a good shot due to her father insisting she knew how to use most firearms and how to defend herself, and hunt if needed, she wasn't sure she had it in her to kill. Not aliens, who could feel and think like she could.
Vishnu is trying to persuade the Prince that he should do his duty and, to impress him, takes on his multi-armed form and says, "Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds."
