Angels of death. The creatures we all fear. They decide whether we live or not. Whether we die in an accident or of old age. They exist in a plain between ours and one we might call heaven. They lead a war against their fallen kin we all consider demons. But the war has changed over the eons. Now, the Totenwæchter roam our world. They defend us from the demons that try to steal the souls of the living. They also step into our world, but they are a far greater hazard to the living. Eventhough the Totenwæchter are great fighters, they cannot fight alone. They bless humans with great potential to join their ranks. Each follower is given the power to fight off the demons.
The war has begun. Live and fight, or die and suffer.

Hello fellow RPers. Hope to see some interest in this.
As of lately, I had bad luck with RPing. Eventhough I had some RPs rolling perfectly fine, I found myself loosing a lot of good RPs and ideas. I hope this time will be different.
Anyway, questions and comments are wished. Hope to have some people interested in this.

Blessed by the Totenwæchter is comparable to becoming a half-god. Your strength, agility and such is greatly increased and you aquire inhuman powers. Your resilience is also much more enhanced, though the usual killing blows (beheading and right through the heart) still kill you. Totenwæchter themselves have various forms, most of them taking angelic forms or more likely to create forms of their own. The most known and strongest Totenwæchter have deep roots in human mythology. Anubis, the Grim Reaper... basically death deities are my basic concept of Totenwæchter in stronger forms.
As for the demons, they are mostly shadow creatures. They differ too much as to explain exactly how they look. The stronger the demon, the more human they appear.
