The Devil's Hand

Okay so this is just going to be a quick summary of the rp. I'm going to do something a bit different and start the IC (in character) before the OOC. I'll write the basis of the story there, see if more people are interested/confirmed interested, then I'll start the OOC. So to sum it up...

This rp will take place in the future, by say a hundred years. I will be writing as a young man who finds himself an incredible sum of money in which he uses to start a city out in the middle of nowhere which grows into something close to Vegas, or at least what Vegas originally was back when the mafia started it up many years ago. We'll be picking up forty years later when he is old and in poor health. The gang, which rules this town, is for the most part under his control and he never had a child so he needs an heir. So he gathers members of the gang, not necessarily the top members but people he trust or other wise believe are up to the task. He then tells them that he will be unable to run the gang at some point and that point is growing closer by the day. He tells them that they all stand a chance to be picked as the next head man/woman. But it won't be easy, there will be test.

I'm thinking a series of events will go on, we'll see who's still in the rp, those who lose interest or disappear will be the ones who didn't make it through. Then we time skip, another series of test, see whose left. Finally someone ends up as the top guy, thus completing the story. If people want to go on after that, we can always start up a spin off but that's for another time.

Do I have anyone's interest? (By the way I wanted to name this Sin Ctiy but seeing as that is already a thing I didn't want to confuse things, just fyi)

cool thanks. I think the whole long story as an intro will keep many people away but it also shows the people that did read it are dedicated rather have a few dedicated than many not
