Here is the 'still rough draft phase' Alpha Flight stuff I'm working on, along with the CS for the character I intend to use among them, I'm goin ahead and posting them incase anyone has objections they'd like to share, or suggestions for something to make 'better' =3 I'll be away for a while cause of dinner and such, meaning, taking a break from the character designing XD I'll add in his bio and Sample post sometime later tonight.

Alpha Flight, The Collection of Soldiers who Under-go Genetic Enhancement, both minor and extreme, to ensure the safety and survival of the people of 'The Second Nation'.

Alpha Flight Consists of a Number of Different branches, to better organize their forces, though their numbers are not as vast as many Armies may be, They make up for it for it in Shere determination and loyalty, Highly polished Teamwork, and of course, Technology and Genetical Modification to Enhance the effectiveness of each and every soldier.

Character You Would Like to Play: Telo Shedevr [Also known as 'Wild Card 3: The Beast']

Character Alignment (Hero, Villain, or Walking the Line): Hero

Appearance/Costume: He's quite the 'beast' of a man, standing at close to 7 feet tall, ripe with strength and Animal qualities, all results of Drastically Advanced Genetic Enhancement.

He generally has little interest in clothing due to his size, however, when expecting to be 'out of combat' for a prolonged, period, he 'does' have some loose casual cloths, as well as a 'business suit' type of out-fit for when he may by some miracle end up dealing with the 'posh righ guy' types and need to make a more 'human' impression.

Origin/History of Your Character and Their Personality:

Telo tries his best to act normal, though it stands as fact that the Advanced level of Genetic Alteration he's undertaken, and the progressive Genetic Mutations taking place, have affected him in various permanent ways. Though he 'is' quite capable of acting like a normal man as long as he focuses, he still shows various unusual behaviours under certain circumstances, growling when threatened or challenged, 'smelling' things out of habit, a 'fuzzy' reaction to explosions and excitement. This is no indicator of his intellect however, despite being occasionally muddled by instinct based interuptions, he actually a highly intelligent man, and is both experienced and highly capable of Logical thought and Tactical Planning.

As for how he is 'normally', well, one must cope with a life style 'literally' filled with violence, yes? He has a deceptively playful nature about him when there is nothing serious going on, and quite commonly will take part in whatever can be called 'fun', drinking, rough housing, dancing, sparring, video games, anything to ease the ever building Tension of war.

Telo was once a completely normal man, an Immigrant from russia at that, prior to the 'out-break' of Wendigo that have since spread across Canada like Wild-fire, but yes, before that, there was little special about him other than learning to live effectively in the new place he'd moved to.

Well, there was 'one' thing especially unique about him, everone knows those old stereotypes about Russian's being really strong, the often joking claims about them 'wrestling bears' and the like, as it happens, Telo has a pet Tiger, An Albino Siberian to be specific, with which he 'plays' occasionally, though he had the scars to prove that he lost frequently enough... He also has a pet husky with an inferiority complex for living with a feline bigger than he is and frequently gets into trouble, harmless trouble at least.

When the Wendigo's started forcing 'civilization' to pull back to the most defensible positions they could, and the Alpha Flight put out a call for anyone willing in order to bolster their numbers in a mad dash to compensate for being out-numbered by the Wendigo's at the time, He joined up without a second thought, quite willing to 'do his part' for defending his new home. It turned out that his Body was especially receptive of the Genetic modification, far beyond expectations actually, and he took to the changes as easily as breathing, though he wasn't 'too' inhuman at first, that changed within the first year as they discovered that he possessed what seemed to be a 'stable' verson of the gene that causes genetic manipulation to take off on it's own once started, Essentially putting him in a permanent state of evolution.

Needless to say, once he 'wolfed out', It was a confusing affair reconvincing his pets that he was himself, but it wasn't too difficult, and before long they were wrestling like old buddies again, of course, now he was much more capable of winning without injury... Both of his pets live in the Alpha Flight Head-quarters currently, shacking up in his personal quarters and occasionally tormenting the other members, though still getting well fed while he'd away.

In his most recent years of Service to Alpha Flight, He has developed into a devastating force of Genetically Altered Power, having risen to the 'Third' Rank of the Wild Card Division, and quite capable of taking down several Lesser Wendigo's all on his own with little real trouble.

More Recently however, the attacks have seemed to become more aggressive in nature, and he, along with a few others, have been dispatched to seek assistance from other places while the Main force of Alpha Flight Fortifies their Land against Wendigo Attacks and holds off their Advance.

    Powers and Abilities:

Supporting Cast (If Any): Alpha Flight, Mika [Albino Siberian Tiger], Tushko [Siberian Husky]

Sample Post: NOTICE: For those faint of heart, don't read the post past halfway XD Given the theme of the area it takes place in, It get 'very' gruesome at a certain point, certainly more than you'd generally hear about in any form of comic. And ya know what? I could've gone into even greater detail.

Alright, I decided to go ahead and drop the Op before I even posted once. I didn't have too solid an idea on what to do with him after I applied. I know, what kind of asshole picks up a character without thinking it through? Well, this asshole does that! Also, fuck you for calling me an asshole! You heard me, my own self!

Anyway, here's my replacement for the Op. Got an idea on what I want to do with him, and what stories I want to tell. So, no worries.

Character You Would Like to Play: Carter Reid/The Green Hornet

Character Alignment (Hero, Villain, or Walking the Line): Hero

Appearance/Costume (Briefly describe or post a picture of what your character's costume looks like):

The gasmask from this costume: http://i.imgur.com/jbAV63S.jpg

Mixed with the attire of this costume: http://i.imgur.com/0IbYQIc.jpg

Miko meanwhile wears the traditional outfit that Kato wears.

Origin/History of Your Character and Their Personality:

Carter Reid is the publisher of DB, formerly the Daily Bugle, a news subsidiary of L-Corp that covers Nueva York. DB distributes daily videos for the Net, a twice daily holocast, and three e-edition downloads for tablets and Net reading. Carter's post as publisher is an inherited one, after the unsolved murder of his father Michael. Carter's investigation into Michael's death led to two startling discoveries. The first was that Michael was on the verge of a breakthrough on his investigation into the gangs of the city and their ties to L-Corp. The second related to the Reid line. Many years ago, an ancestor of Carter's ran a daily publication known as a "newspaper" and, upon faced with growing corruption in his city, he struck out as a masked man known as the Green Hornet. The Green Hornet and his partner Kato fought for hope in the hopeless city of Chicago.

Angry over his father's murder, Carter decided to follow in the man's footsteps. He used his contacts with L-Corp to track down a woman known as Miko, the only living descendant of Kato's. The young woman had been in the army, fighting against COBRA, and was crippled in a battle. Carter promised Miko a chance to walk again if she would help him on his quest. After several bionic implants in the woman's arms and legs, she could again walk. With Miko at his side, Carter lashed out at the criminal underworld as The Green Hornet, scourge of the criminal underworld.

    Powers and Abilities:

Carter has no powers, but he is a capable fighter and investigator. He carries a gun that is a combination stun and gas gun.

Miko, already a trained soldier, now has increased strength, agility, and durability due to her bionic enhancements. Her enhancements and her training maker her a fighter of the highest caliber.

Carter and Miko use the Black Beauty, a black hovercar tricked out with several weapons and gadgets used in their crime fighting.

    Supporting Cast (If Any):
Miko: Carter's partner in the war against corruption
    Ron Robertson: DB's editor-in-chief.
Spider Jerusalem: a mysterious blogger DB occasionally publishes. Carter uses Jerusalem as a contact for information about the movements of the criminal underworld.
Tyler Stone, CEO of L-Corp and Chase's boss.
Vinnie Caruso, a hoodlum turned politician that is now the mayor of Nueva York. Caruso is a go-between the criminal gangs and the megacorps that pull the city's strings.

Sample Post (must be a minimum of 2 paragraphs with at least 2 lines of dialogue from your character):

    Midtown Manhattan
    11:24 PM

The Black Beauty raced hundreds of feet above the streets of Manhattan. The black hovercar sped passed the tall and opulent spires that held the city's elite. Inside the car, the black-clad woman kept her hands glued to the flying car's yoke. The man seated in the passenger seat looked at the holographic display that hovered above the car's dash. A real-time holo map of the city floated in the air, showing the locations of crimes in progress as reported to LCSF, the L-Corp Security Force. Each crime in progress was tagged with a red dot. At present, there were thirty-three dots around Manhattan alone.

The man zoomed in to one red dot that was three blocks due east of their current location. The dot loaded a streaming video from a pedestrian's handheld terminal. The shaky footage showed three black jumping from the rooftop of one high-rise twenty stories above the ground. Their powerful kicks took them over a twenty foot gap to the next closest building. Under the video, a banner scrolled horizontally on the display. Crime in progress, it read, Code 10-459: Breaking and Entering.

"Not much," Carter Reid said. He slid the gasmask on to his face and let it contract and expand to custom fit the contours of his head. He pressed a button on the side of the mask. The display on the dash now filled his goggles in the form of a heads-up display.

"It's a start," Miko said from the driver's seat. She turned the yoke sideways and punched the throttle. The Black Beauty raced over the rooftops, headed due east towards the scene of the crime.

Black Arrow and Green Hornet are approved.
The only position that leaves me with no cognitive dissonance is atheism. It is not a creed. Death is certain, replacing both the siren-song of Paradise and the dread of Hell. Life on this earth, with all its mystery and beauty and pain, is then to be lived far more intensely: we stumble and get up, we are sad, confident, insecure, feel loneliness and joy and love. There is nothing more; but I want nothing more.

Character You Would Like to Play: Robert Kyle, Batman 2099

Character Alignment (Hero, Villain, or Walking the Line): Hero

Appearance/Costume (Briefly describe or post a picture of what your character's costume looks like): Going with the Batman One Million look...

And for Robert, going with a young Ralph Fiennes

Origin/History of Your Character and Their Personality: Robert is an intelligent man and quick thinker, able to keep calm under pressure. Growing up privileged, Robert is very well mannered and versed in the etiquette of the social elite, though he tries to avoid that crowd at all cost. Robert possess a strong will, which can turn stubborn at times. Robert has a charisma about him, something that has helped him in life, and he uses to his advantage. If there is one thing he believes in it's justice, pure and true. And he will even go around the law to see it done.
Unlike the original Batman, Robert believes that some evil is beyond imprisonment and redemption, and, although rare, he will kill if he needs to.

Robert grew up a privileged child, son to one of Gotham's most prestigious families, thanks in large part to his father, William (or Bill as he was often called) who was a top geneticist at L-Corp. His mother, Anne, was a renowned personal trainer, having many many famous clientele , as well as being an accomplished practitioner of Brazilian Ju-Jitzu and Judo.
Given their backgrounds and daily lives, education and fitness were important to Robert's parents, and so, from a young age on, Robert received the best in training money could buy.

Robert showed considerable promise in biology, much as his father did, and became quite the accomplished martial artist, winning tournaments all over L-Corp territory. After graduating from Metropolis University, Robert followed in his father's footsteps and joined Wayne-Powers in it's genetics department, eventually working under William.
But, as the Kyle's prospered, Gotham suffered.

Derek Powers, CEO of Wayne-Powers (the L-Corp owned corporation that controlled Gotham, was raking in the profits at the expense of the common folk. Gotham City was a glorified slave to their Wayne-Powers giant, with many citizens falling well under the middle class line. Few dared to stand up to Derek Powers though, and rightfully so. But one surprising advocate to change company policy was Robert's father.

One of the most prosperous men in Wayne-Powers at the time, William's voice carried weight. Enough to possibly turn the brass at L-Corp against Powers, and relieve him of his position as CEO of the company. And that was something he could not allow. So Derek Powers did what any rational monster would and hired a mercenary to end the threat.

Robert still remembers the day as though it happened yesterday...they were driving back from the movies, he and his parents. He was sitting in the back seat of the car, listening to his old man tell a story of what happened in the lab today. Robert was smiling, from ear to ear. With the schedule they all had, it was rare that they were able to get together for an outing like this.
Suddenly the truck flew in from out of nowhere, smashing into the vehicles passenger side and sending both vehicles spiraling to the city streets below.

Robert awoke in Gotham General days later, having suffered major injuries to his spine and a severe concussion. However, he was the lucky one. William and Anne did not survive the crash. His parents were dead.

Overwhelmed with grief, Robert spent his weeks rehabbing the accident with nothing to do but replay the night over and over in his head. It dominated his dreams, making him unable to sleep even a wink most nights.

The funeral for his folks was broadcast all across Gotham, attended by some of the most influential people in the city, such as Derek Powers, Damien Wayne, the elder statesman of the prestigious Wayne family, and Thomas "Tommy" Grayson, progeny of Dick Grayson and Gotham's most powerful crime lord.
But Robert was seemingly oblivious to them all, and to the cameras. The only thing he could see were holograms of his parents standing together and smiling at the crowd as their remains were laid to rest. All the while, his mind was reliving that fateful night, his guts telling him that something was not right.

Using his influence, Robert got hold of pertinent information to the accident, scanning it for anything out of the ordinary. For months, Robert investigated his parent's death in his spare time, sure that this was no mere accident. It was an investigation that slowly began to take over Robert's mind, and his work began to suffer for it.
He was demoted by the company after an accident, sent to work under Morgana Fox in the R&D department.

Eventually, Robert stumbled on some new evidence: that the driver of the truck that hit them was not drunk, but the vehicle was remotely controlled from afar. That wasn't all. His mother, Anne, apparently survived the crash, but was killed courtesy of a bullet to her head. A kill shot at point blank range.
It was no accident; his parents were murdered.

All signs pointed to Derek Powers being the hand behind William and Anne's murder, but there was nothing Robert could do to prove it. And, even it there was, it wouldn't matter. Derek Powers sat as the de facto ruler of Gotham, and anything brought against him would be quickly dismissed, not to mention that the person going after him would go the way of Robert's parents.
No, if Robert was going to have his revenge, he would have to go another route.

Nearly a year had gone since his parent's death, with Robert stewing about it inside, all the while toiling away in the R&D division. Thankfully, Morgana Fox was understanding of Robert's predicament, and was grateful to have a mind such as his in her department. All in all, Robert was starting to get his life back in some semblance of order when he received an invitation that would change his life forever.

Damien Wayne, heir to the Wayne fortune and still a shareholder in the company that partly bore his name, had invited him to his impressive estate for dinner. The manor was like something out of the past, Robert remembered feeling when he first saw it. The entire neighborhood had been destroyed in the Cataclysm, but the Wayne family had the manor rebuilt, brick for brick, as it was before.

Over the decades that followed, Damien slowly purchased the surrounding plots of land, making Wayne Manor the only dwelling in what was one of Gotham's private (and richest) districts.
But the house only looked antiquated from the outside. Inside it was a product of the very best of cutting edge technology.

Over dinner, Damien and Robert got to know each other, all the while each one sizing the other up. It would seem that Damien was as sick of the corruption in this city as Robert's parents were. Indeed, he was one of his father's friends who secretly helped William in his struggle to make things better for the citizens of Gotham.
But, it would seem that Gotham's sins were too great for even a man of William's pedigree to wash away.

Somehow, Damien knew the truth about the 'accident', and that his parents were taken out by Powers. But, like Robert, he was unable to pin anything on Derek Powers. But, all was not lost.

He saw that Robert desired to avenge his parent's death, and that, deep down, he wanted to continue his father's crusade to help clean up this city. But, as a man, he could be ignored, or even destroyed. To fight this level of injustice, Robert would have to become something...more than a man. He would have to become a symbol: of hope for the downtrodden and fear for the wicked who ran the city.

And so, after a long talk, Damien took Robert down to the mansion's lower levels, making him an offer to become that symbol. To take up the mantle of a figure that has not been seen in the city for over a two decade, since Damien hung up the cape.

It was time for the Dark Knight to return...

Powers and Abilities: None, but Robert is a highly skilled martial artist, mastering a handful of different styles of hand to hand combat. Robert is also trained in the use of most melee weapons and knows how to use a firearm. Robert is a scientific genius and one of Wayne-Powers' brightest minds.
Under Damien's tutelage, Robert has become adept in the ways of stealth and secrecy, as well as becoming a pretty good detective.

Robert wears a state-of-the-art combat suit in the motif of the Batman. The suit is extremely light weight and durable, able to handle extreme heats and colds, as well as being complete with it's own life support system capable of sustaining Robert without outside sources of food, water, or air for up to 48 hours. The suit also houses a menagerie of advanced weaponry based on the former tools of the original Batman, as well as some new ones (such as an invisibility setting that renders the suit and it's wearer invisible to the naked eye and nearly all forms of electronic, and luminary, detection; enhancing the wearer's strength, speed, and agility; can interface with computer systems).

The suit also has two small anti-gravity field emitters in the boots which enable the wearer to fly silently, while the cape can be used as 'wings' to enable the wearer to control the flight with the utmost precision.

Supporting Cast (If Any): Damien Wayne (mentor); Morgana Fox (R&D boss at Wayne-Powers/close friend); Commander Michael Drake (high ranking member of the Gotham Police Force and one of the few good officers in the department); Derek Powers (head of Wayne-Powers and chief antagonist to Robert).

Sample Post (must be a minimum of 4 paragraphs with at least 2 lines of dialogue from your character):

The room was still, as though the darkness was a solid thing, holding everything in it's place in a 'frozen' state. Nothing stirred, save for the little mouse that scurried across the living room floor, through the puddle of blood, and around the dead body resting on the carpet before the television.

The mouse was startled and scurried under the sofa as one of the shadows suddenly moved. Stepping out of the darkness, the Batman leaned in over the body.

Janice Ponder, age thirty-seven...former receptionist for Wayne-Powers' Bludhaven office. She quit two weeks ago. Apparently she either saw or overheard something she shouldn't have.

The Batman knelt down, closely inspecting the scene.

Time of death, I'd say was not any longer than a few hours ago. If only I had gotten here earlier, Robert cursed himself as he scowled underneath the mask.

No signs of struggle in the house, yet...

The lenses in the Batsuit's eyes silently whirred as the magnification increased, zooming in on a tiny barb sticking out of Janice's neck that was no larger than a few dozen centimeters. Reaching for it, Robert gently plucked out the impish dart, bringing it close up to his eyes to inspect.

Hard to tell what the poison was, but I'd wager it will soon be undetectable in her bloodstream. Usually how these people operate.

Batman placed the dart in safekeeping to examine it later in the cave, and produced what appeared to be a small syrette and stuck it in Janice's neck, taking a small sample of blood.

Hopefully I'll be able to get something of note in analyzing this, the Batman thought as he slowly rose to his feet.
Something that can help identify the killer, though this definitely smacks of a corporate raider, or even a Wave operative...
