I want to do a ninja RP with action, stealth, betrayal and backroom politics. A fast paced piece that we would all equally create in a brainstorm and make sure to not be bored by. Is anyone interested? I'm looking for a small close knit group and want to keep things more along the line of Tale of the Otori and Basilisk than Naruto, if you know what I mean. That would not mean that there would not be supernatural elements but more along the line of ruthless killers than anti-heroes.
As for the plot I was thinking that we could do the creation of a ninja clan, the building of their secret village and finally their day to day lives that would culminate to their ascension as the strongest ninja clan in feudal Japan. The details are still vague so there is plenty of place for brainstorming.

I would be more comfortable with shade of grey character, to be frank as the ninja life was tough and full of sacrifices for the well being of the clan and the master of the clan.
Well, what if he had a good reason to be a complete monster? Protecting family, twisted vision of reality, ect...

Would he be able to even be in a clan in that case? They would have to rely on each others above all.

Easily done. My main idea for a character after all relies mostly around a guy who breathes fire by using a special jug of alcohol mixed with rare herbs and spices.
