    One Piece: The second pirate era (OOC/ Private)

    We'll go ahead and say Luffy already found the One Piece, became the next Pirate king and everything. After his glorious adventure, and tales of beating some of the strongest pirates on the ocean, it drove yet another wave of rogue souls to the oceans. In this second wave, everyone's goal is not to find the big hidden treasure, but to see who can get the bigger bounty. The bigger your bounty, the quicker you can associate yourselves with the royalty of the ocean. Who knows, you might even run into Monkey D. Luffy himself...

    Be warned, however. The more infamous you become, the harder it becomes to go unnoticed. The harder that gets, the more navy cannons you may have to deal with.

    ~~~~~~~~~~
    Crew Name: (TBA)
    I like the idea of the race to infamy, a great motivator. It kind of works perfectly with the second in commands personality/ambitions lol.
    and the higher we climb I'd wager we'll get attention from other pirates as well. I'd wager well get attacked by a crew or two that want to jump a rank by taking us down. Hell, that's how Luffy and crew got a good chunk of there bounty.
    Ah yes. And also by pounding a weakened Don Krieg, not that it wasn't hard.
    Update: I'll admit, while I'm not a huge fan of rap, it's refreshing to see a rap song that isn't bragging about money, drugs or girls.
    I'm not really much into the rap or hip-hop styles either, with the exception of the ridiculous nerdy bombast of Childish Gambino and the honest, clever, sometimes inspirational works of George Watsky.
    I have finished fleshing out my Fishwoman ( yes the character ended up being female lol ) and am working on the description of her appearance. I must say I am super excited for her and can't wait to use her.
    FYI, the i-character thread for SM got attacked by a troll. I suggest just putting him on your ignore list, as it hides the message.
    sorry, I'll elaborate and explain that line better.
    Rev doesn't see himself as a leader and is pretty sure he falls firmly in the "follower" class of person. So while he would agree he has the strength to be a first mate, he honestly doesn't think he makes a good first mate from a "running a ship" point of view , but he has this habit of putting things and keeping things order that he developed from growing up as a ward of a dojo. And at the end of the day one of a first mates key duties is doing a lot of the busy work the captain doesn't have time to do such as make sure all things are in order and organized, so while he doesn't know it, he already has a skill or two that makes him a good first mate from the "running a ship" point of view.
    did that clear it up? or did I manage to make it more confusing? Lol I seem to have a skill at the latter.
    Also, for my next post should I time skip us to being in sight of, near, or at our first island stop? Or do you have more shinanagins planed?
    Perhaps they get to know one another a little better before they end up on the next island? though I am assuming we are going to introduce our navigator there, that way we don't have to establish 3 character friendships at once? If you don't want that to be the case, our first island could be some other initial bonding adventure like fighting marines/ass hole pirates/more monsters, I'm cool with that also.
    I think it'd be a good time for the 'get to know ya' portion after sending off a giant shark, don' you?
