Forbidden Bliss....Torturous Love (OverLord Wyvern x Luna Griffith)

The war between Angels and Demons have been going on for centuries. There seemed to be no end in sight as the battles seemed to end in stalemates. No one was winning, everyone was losing. The battles rage on outside of the sight of humanity, but they knew they were happening and they knew it was over their souls. Scratch that, only those who have faith in God and the Heavens above, as well as those who have faith in Lucifer and Hells below, knew about the war over their souls. At first it had been like a tug a war over the human race's soul. Some followed the angels and others followed the demons. Now it was full on wars and battles that never cease. It's one constant battle after the next.

Little did the angels know that there was a being around the humans. A being that's race isn't known...

Cathrine was on the battle field, fighting alongside her brethren. Her sword was covered in demonic blood, though she wasn't unscathed. She had several cuts on her face, arms, and one that had been almost life threatening had she been human. The battle seemed to be like any other that she's been through. Neither side was winning, no one was backing down. It was never ending.

Suddenly there was something heavy that hit the top of her head as she pulled her sword out of another fallen demon. She felt the red liquid of life flow out of the wound and into her silver hair. In disbelief her hand touched the liquid as she swung at her attacker, stabbing him in the stomach. She went to move away from her spot, but then the dizziness took her. She tripped over a dead body, not knowing if it was demon or angel. She fell as darkness took over her sight.

'This must be the end.' She thought as she began to pass out. She could no longer hear the sounds of battle. 'The war has finally taken me.' She couldn't be more wrong, for as seeing their comrade fall, a few angels swooped down and snatched her away from the demons that were about to destroy her. They took her to a hospital, but left before any of the humans could see them. They had made sure that her wings would be hidden from anything the doctors used before they had left her in their capable hands.

the doctors seeing catherine, believing her to be an emergency patient rushed the maiden into the hopsital. unaware that she was an angel, they did everything they could to provide aid, however there best doctor watched them as they did this. something about this woman was different. he couldn't quite place it, however dr. oku was one who rarely ignored patients, nor has his instincts failed him in the past. the worse od the damage was treated, as the maiden was now on a soft bed. her body wrapped in white sheets, and a blanket. the doctor sat there waiting for her to awaken, as he had a few questions for her.

Cathrine was out for a while, though not long enough to be humanly. She heard the beeping of the machines and groaned slightly. She had been so out of it that she hadn't felt the strange presence in the room as she opened her eyes. She looked at the unfamiliar room, while not sitting up yet, as the stench of sterile equipment reached her nose. The room looked very bland. She groaned again as she realized she was in a hospital. Couldn't they have allowed her to die like a warrior, instead of in this place? No, of course not. She carefully began to sit up, noticing that her cuts had been bandaged. She felt her head throb and tried to move her hand to it. That was when she noticed there was an i.v. in it. So her right hand was the hand that touched the bandage of her pounding head.

not noticing the doctore sitting behind her. catherin soon felt a hand gently come to rest against hers, as he prevent the maiden from touching the back of the head. in a soft voice which seemed to burrow into her mind.

"shh, this is not the time to mess with that. do you want to end up a useless veggie, or would you rather recover, and rejoin the war? " as he spoke, the voice sounde human, however the tone of which the voice echoed with was almost demonic.

Cathrine jumped slightly as a hand touched her own, stopping her from touching the back of her head. Her eyes were wide as a voice reached her ears and echoed in her mind. She slowly turned her head toward the voice and saw what appeared to be a human male. Her hand lowered down to her lap. It took her a while to separate the human voice from that of the demonic one that entered her mind. She knew he was much more than he appeared. "How'd you know about the war?" She asked in a low voice. Humans didn't know much about it.

" if you must know, look over in the other room. this is a hospital, we treat people regardless of what side there on, however unlike my colleges, i will kill those who endanger my other patients. " as he spoke calmly it was apparent he did not think that cahrine would pose a threat, however in the other room, as a succubus queen which she herself had injured earlier. the demonic maiden was chained up, as only female doctors saw her. it was dr oku's order. this prevented the demon from being able to consume the males sexual life force, thus protected her, and his cohorts. as he sat back down. asking cathrine routine questions about how she felt, how much she remembered. it was obvious he did not have any interest in the war at all.

Cathrine nodded carefully as the man spoke. She had looked out and saw other patients. It was apparent that he had to treat everyone, no matter the race. She laid back as he told her that he would kill those who endanger his patients. "You won't have to worry about me doing that." She replied in a tired voice. Her body was healing up the wounds that she had sustained. She answered all the questions to the best of her ability. She felt warm and kicked off the blanket, noticing she was in a hospital gown.

after bothering her for an hour, the good doctor got up, as he gently ran his hand along her leg to her foot. the fingers ran from the surface to the tip. he then did this with the other leg,, and her arms, avoiding the I.V.
"is this causing any severe pain, once were done with this test i will let you rest. just be honest, is there any severe pain when i do this?" as he asked, the doctor was trying his best to be gentle, and caring, however it was apparent that being so close to an angel made him uncomfortable.

Cathrine watched as the doctor ran his hand along her leg to her foot. She shook her head at all the questions as he touched her. It felt sort of nice, making her relax into the bed. "No...that doesn't hurt at all. I can't remember the last time I was able to relax and just sleep." She told him with a smile. "I know I make you uneasy and you don't have to stay with me. Go see your other patients." Her head hurt slightly though, feeling the steady throb drove her insane, but she had to heal.

leaving her be, cathrine was free to rest peacefully, as the subordinates of the doctor would pop in on her by the hour to check on her. in the other room, the angel. would get a sigh which was horrifying in deed. the other patient, the demoness. she had managed to get one of the male studies to visit her. tearing him to shred, however the docter intered the room, as he was amune the demonic charm some how. with a single wave of his hand, the woman was turned into a pile of fleshy goo. collecting the student doctor. as he shook his head, leaving the room. it was apparent now that even these doctors did not fully understand the risk of there job in such a war, let alone that the humans in the facility were unable to fully understand what real demons, or angels were like, let alone capable of.
