You are now based in The Streets Of Rage, the roughest city in the not-to-distant future
in 2018 gun control is complete, nobody has firearms unless you are part of the governments elite guard (the regulators) but this has not stopped crime, people learned how to fight, and the toughest and most skilled hand to hand combatants have the power in this run down city.

Mr. X was defeated in the 90s and nobody has heard from him since....

Tournaments are everywhere, leauges. exhibition fights are bread and butter for building a name and earning respect in this tough place, many martial artist and skilled fighters make a very good living opening dojos and gyms for those who want to improve and over come thier ever increasing opponents, the mayor Dynamo Frokane Jr overlooks this City and this is where you step in.

Gameplay:
This is a fighting, high casual RP, there will be development, dialouge and interaction and obviously a lot of fighting, normal RP rules of battle apply to PvP matches.

I will play as the Mayor who controls the regulators and runs the city, the flow of the day and your everyday activites is freeform and player-lead, but I will announce major tournaments and events.

There Will be One character per player and all fighting will be under close-as-possible to reality physics,
you may choose up to 5 different fighting styles your character knows, but for every style you learn you will be less proficent then a fighter that has less styles. (you will be a master at karate if its your only style, but if you know boxing,wrestling and judo, you will be only mildly proficent in each)

I will also determine your place in the city in my Intro posts, you will do as you wish after that.

Streets of Rage Locations


The Strip

This is the home of the cities' nightlife. It has bars, clubs SEGA arcades and plenty of hookers. Its also the easiest place in the city to find a fight if you lost whole stack at one of the many corrupt casinos. They hold many tournaments in the basement of the various clubs, over seen by the shadiest bartenders.

Downtown

This is the ugly side of the ugly city. Meth labs, Crack Dens, Gang Hideouts, Betting Stops, and Pawn Shops of the Illegal Variety. The Cops leave this place alone, they call it Hades Hideout, where all the evil in the city can be contained (to a certain extent).

The Beach

Just because you spend 60% of the day kicking someones teeth in, doesn't mean you should be skipping on that tan! The Beach is home to the beautiful babes, and the most intense volleyball tournaments you might have ever seen. This is where you can relax, get an ice cream and take a break from all the fighting. Although you may see the odd Caporiea matches here and there.

Uptown

This is where the tourists come, this is PR friendly acceptable face of the new and improved 'Streets Of Rage'
Coffee Shops, Resturants, Expos, Venues, Stadiums, and even more Coffee Shops! This is civilisation at its finest, where everyone is young attractive and rich. This is also where the official fighting tournaments take place, the best brawlers in this sector are comparable to celebrities!

The Airport

If you are new to this city, you are probably beginning your adventure here, you wouldnt believe how much illegal contraband gets smuggled in this area, and if even you did, you wouldnt believe how many cops turn a blind eye to it. There are some hotels in this area, and a few sanctioned fights in the parking lots.

On a side note I understand the 'no magic-like things' xD but 'flashy cartwheels' might actually be part of someone's fighting style... like, maybe some wierd kung fu Cheerleader >.>

on 'another' side note, what about the more realism based types of things? like suddenly pulling out a grenade or being 'armed' with something like a sword, tonfa... or a pipe XD, and so on?... maybe I'm thinking 'final fight' >.>
