Xylia lounged at the base of a tree in the vast yard of Charles Xavier's School for the Gifted. It is a safe haven for many, not just herself. There was a slight breeze toying with the leaves, helping the stagnant hot air of summer move along. Spring had finished settling in and summer was on it's way. The good thing about Xavier's school was that it was an all year round boarding school, providing a place to go no matter what. Xylia had been reading one of her favorite books, Pride and Prejudiced, before she lay the open book in her lap keeping her place with one had while the other gently played with a little wisp of air that had blown in her direction. It danced around her fingers and in her palm before she let it go fluttering of with the rest of the light gust. In the cool shade Xylia continued to read her novel, enjoying the sound of nature, the wind, and the other people out and enjoying the day.
