What if it was real? [Fiction in reality] Arena Branch

This RP is variable enough that I figured I'd also open up an arena branch dedicated to just beating the shit out of eachother, afterall, all of those people with strange powers and such gotta be able to work out their frustrations somewhere yeah?

Now there may be 2 threads for this eventually, one will be solely for beating the crap out of eachother =3 the other will be for plot based Arena fights from the main RP, when their organized for such =3



A simple enough question, but it depends on what it's reffering to.

In this case, It's to all those supposedly fictional things, stories, cartoons, comics, movies. From the mind boggling, and sometimes sickeningly so, cuteness of things like the powerpuff girls or MLP, to the much grittier and violent, yet still potentially comical, types such as Hellsing and FMA.

Now, obviously we can't just merge all the different continuities together, and we can't have any world destroying power players [that means no super saiyan's for one], but what we 'can' do is imagine our world with all of the key players of these wild and numerous sources as part of it's every-day populace. Now wouldn't 'that' be fun? and potentially insane depending on your point of view.


What I'm proposing here, is a fairly open world RP, you're free to do as you please [which means I won't be holding your hand through the RP, so don't enter expecting a simple 'along for the ride' type of experience], though situations will inevitably arise.

Essentially, it's a wide-ass open RP that I propose will have no GM, but if someone starts god-modding, they can expect what is likely to be a far greater number of 'good guys' to beat them clean out of reality =P


Aaand of course, as for Characters, anything goes without being Insanely OP, and you're free to make your own Characters themed after something, or totally unique as well, or pick canons, such as Dexter, Grim, or even 'him', long as you don't completely anihilate their inherent character XD [that is to say, for example, playing 'him' as a good guy would be impossible.] though colorful interpretation is perfectly fine =3


If all goes well, this will hopefully come to be a rather large RP, I mean, I certainly hope that there's a sizeable number of RPers on this site capable of looking after themselves in a Free-world =P


Now, for the purposes of Simplicity, I 'will' be setting up a central location that will essentially be a hot-bed of activity of various kinds, this is just to provide a familiar place for those who want to easily be able to encounter other characters in the same city. You're still free to even go off on your own story =3 If this Inspires someone to do something, by all means, start your own thread/side-stories even XD


And for those who might just happen to be curious, I was inspired to utilize this idea from some days I spent reading 'Snafu comics' =3 who takes a VERY interesting outlook on the worlds of these numerous cartoons =3
