Earth-Zero:The home to the DC Universe. Home to the OMACs. Home to the Justice League. And home to the Crisis. Consider it ground zero for the war on OMACs, Magic, and supervillains.
Earth-Prime: An earth in which the only superheroes were in the media. Everyone knew who the characters were. The only person from that earth to have superpowers was a boy named Clark Kent. When he was a teen his powers had developed fully. But his world was destroyed years ago. He is the last son of Earth-Prime. He sees himself as the rightful Superman, and is determined to remove every other "Superman" from the picture.
Earth-1: A version of the DC Universe in which the world resembles the 21st Century of Earths that lack heroes. It is the sum of a chunk of Earth-Prime, a world long forgotten, and Luthor's twisted imagination. He created a world where people are killed in broad daylight. Drugs are taken like candy, and gangs are everywhere. Very few heroes have surfaced here; but those who do, rise to prominence.
Earth-2, The Golden Age:An Earth with campy heroes and surprisingly friendly villains who couldn't resist the urge to fail. The day always belonged to Justice, and crimes happened after dark. Heroic Legacies were often not passed down to other people. Such is the case with The Flash or Robin. However, this gleefully simple, black and white world was destroyed. The only survivors were Superman and Lois Lane, who had been rescued by Alexander Luthor.
New Earth-2: Unlike the classic, friendly, long dead Earth-2. This earth is almost entirely unfriendly. This earth rose from the ashes of the first Earth-2, and a piece of Earth-Prime. On this Earth, heroes are mostly younger versions of earth's Golden Age heroes, on a more paranoid earth. They, because of this, are wildly different than many other versions.
Earth-3, Antimatter:An Earth in which Evil always won. The Justice League was replaced by the Crime Syndicate of Amerika. Which was comprised of Power Ring, Ultramam, Superwoman, Owlman, and Johnny Quick. They were opposed by the Justice Underground, a group of heroes such as Quizmaster (Riddler) and Jokester (Joker). The greatest hero however, was Lex Luthor. A man of science who used his intellect to challenge the mighty Crime Syndicate. Eventually he met his fate and was killed. Leaving his son, Alexander, fatherless. When that earth was destroyed, Alexander designed an inter-dimensional escape pod. He found refugees of other earths and took them in. They have recently come to Earth-Zero. Interestingly this Earth still exists as Earth-Zero's antimatter Universe.
New Earth-6, The Commonwealth: In 1776, the American colonists were shown their place by losing in their revolution. The Colonies eventually spread from coast to coast, and the Americas were eventually a fully accepted part of British Society. So much so that for a brief time, the crown was transferred to Philadelphia when London was in danger of annihilation by nazis. Eventually Superheroes appeared, ushering in a new era for Britain.
Earth-12, DCAU: A world patrolled by the JLU, an expanded Justice League that has hundreds of members. They expand on a regular basis to keep up with an increasingly sinister world. They are opposed by many enemies, even in the bleakest situations, they stand tall.
Earth-16: A universe in which best friends Batman and Superman have children, who are best friends as well. They are being trained by their parents to eventually replace them completely. However, nearly everyone else also has a child who carries on their legacy. The pair often struggle to take on more parent-child teams, but they often get into trouble. These massive misadventures often get the Super Sons, as they're called, into the spotlight.
New Earth-16, Young Justice: A team of sidekicks and teenaged heroes strikes out on their own or just as often act as a teenage counterpart to the Justice League. Their capacity for justice is just as deep as their capacity for deceit, often turning simple missions into massively intriguing quests. Their ranks are always growing, just as the number of their enemies do.
Earth-19, Gaslight: A world in which the victorian era lasted longer than it normally would have. It influenced American culture heavily and it lasted throughout the industrial revolution. It seems that on this Earth, the age of gentleness shall never end. At least not entirely, this earth is plagued by many criminals who familiarize themselves with the workings of gears and gizmos, but there are also men dedicated to hunting down these criminals in order to uphold their society.
Earth-30, Red Son: In the 1970s, a baby landed in Soviet Russia. He was from a foreign planet, and he was readily accepted into a russian family. Eventually strange abilities he had were noted, and the government then taught him to stand strong for Russia. He replaced the need for a nuclear arms race, because he'd crush anyone who dared challenge the USSR.
Earth-31, Miller: The Dark Knight is Gotham's savage protector. He protects his city by viciously assaulting criminals. He also employs children to assist him in his everlasting job. When they fail, they are fired.
Earth-32: After the death of a Green Lantern who was killed in duty, his ring had to seek out a new host. A daring one. A strong one. A fearless one. It found that in the billionaire Bruce Wayne, who had mastered his fear of bats years ago.
Earth-40: An earth in which all superheroes are agents of the U.S. Government. From Superman to a mysterious man known as, The Bat.
Earth-N, Noir: An earth in which the world took a turn from the Earth-Prime history. The main divergence point is the 1940s, on this earth people have a tendency to act as if they are in an old detective style film. The world still has a wide range of powers, but they act as more of an assist to the people than a defining trait.
Earth-Q: Years ago Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman were defenders of the earth. Then there was a rift between them and somewhere through time Batman and Wonder Woman grew closer while Superman grew apart. Superman married Lois Lane while Batman married Wonder Woman, they had three children, Robin, Wonder Boy, and Wonder Girl. By now, the two families are at war. Determined to destroy the other, while neither of the family men know honestly why.
Earth-R: An earth that is populated by reptiles entirely. Humans never rose from evolution, only superiorly evolved reptiles.
Earth-X: An earth in which the Nazis won World War II. Their communism had spread and overtaken most of the countries in the world, except for America. A group of patriots who are entirely opposed to Hitler's rule have named themselves, The Freedom Fighters. They are led by the American Spirit himself, Uncle Sam. The battle for freedom is hard fought on this world, even more so than usual and the odds are against them. Should the Freedom Fighters and the military fail to stop the nazis from spreading, the multiverse is screwed over. But they'll never surrender in the name of Truth, Justice, and The American Way.
