I've found that TF2 gets my gameboner stiff since it rewards the hell out of teamwork and punishes those who try to play it like Call of Duty. There's also quite a bit of strategy involved in that you must choose the most effective loadout for your style and work with other players of complimentary classes in order to succeed.

Examples: A Heavy is basically a huge bullet magnet, ensuring he will die quickly without a Medic to back him up. Engineers are excellent defenders, but can't do much in the way of offense and rely heavily on Pyros to defend them from Spies.
I don't know what to put here right now.

I tried to play TF2, but then I realsed it was teamwork based, and that I have no friends...so I sadly uninstalled!

    Final Fantasy Tactics master game.
To what end would I hold this soul that is shattered?
With dead heart so cold and spirit so tattered
My mind in shambles and broken body so battered
Where sorrow has filled the void and I've lost all that mattered
To what end would I hold this soul that is shattered?

    Because shooters are never challenging.

Fair enough, I'll give you there's challenge/skill involved in shooters, I won't deny that. Not sure how to word it really... Not the same kind of challenge I suppose?
I suppose a single-player or cooperative game is more challenging in the sense of teamwork or individual strategy, whereas shooters are just who can... Well... Aim better.

Pretty much my main reason for playing. It's a bizarre change to the typical shooter, with interesting and genuinely likable characters and a rather bountiful backstory that sets it apart from other games. I'm something of a lore-whore, and Gears of War has more than enough lore fluff to keep me interested for days on end.

I've actually found both Portal games to be incredibly overrated. They're alright games, but I would choose Gears of War: Judgement over a third Portal game.

You mean to say "I do not like puzzle games as much as straightforward shooters."

Becouse the portalgames, out of gamedev perspective was a great experiment in combining puzzles with fps controls. Something that people kept failing at before. It was also a great use of silent protag narrative, but that Is Valves forte so we all expected them to deliver on that. GoW on the other hand introduced us to a evolved verison of cover systems and cemented the Regen health trend (much to my chagrin) and became the very essence of "Casual Shooters.

Also, The GOW characters are flat as fucking pancakes up untill the thirdgame, super fucking generic muscleheads and walking frat bait. You are putting alot of cred in some very basic things that alot of people have done FAR BETTER many times before. As for the lore? What lore? I've read a shit ton of GoW. It is the same basic sci-fi tropes heaped upon one another with added grit and grim to cover for some sloppy writing and a basic as shit plotline.
