I was walking to the library about 5 miles away and an unmarked sheriff's suv pulled up beside me to tell me that there are three armed black men on the loose.

Walk a little further along, there's a sheriff's officer standing in front of a subdivision with an AR-15 and a bullet proof vest.

This type of shit happens all the time. It's less noticeable in the cities, though.
