She was so used to ignoring the common question. Of times she had heard it, yet it wasn’t important information to give. Just telling someone she was there to help was all that was needed. Only her colleagues needed to know her name. However, she doubted that this man would accept her statement that it was not a name that he needed to know. A month, well that wasn’t too long ago, but still quite a long time. There was a high probability she’d need to mention this… issue to someone. It was at that moment that she wondered if he saw all the angels that wandered around doing their job. However, she couldn’t bring herself to point to one of the angels and ask about them – that would not work. Her mind slowly drifted back to the question at hand.
“Azraella,” she found herself answering truthfully. “Though you may call me Ella.”
She titled her head as she wondered if that was a good choice, perhaps she should have just introduced herself as Ella. That would have been simplest.
“Why has it taken you so long to… talk to me if it’s been that long? Lake of courage?” her question was probably too informal, too judgmental and offensive. However, she couldn’t remember the last time she tried to have a civil discussion with a human. She was used to just telling them what they needed to now and letting them pass on. She wasn’t that worried about revealing information to someone who could pass it on to living people who mattered.

"Um... well, yeah. God, this'll make me sound like a creep but... I had this feeling like you were too... important, to be bothered by me. I don't know what made me finally come to you." Ry answered honestly but found himself fumbling for words. He felt like a complete fool. "So... Ella... please, tell me, because I've been trying to figure it out... what are you...? Who are you?"

She considered his questions. What harm would be done by telling him? Well, there was always the possibility that he wouldn’t leave her alone after learning that she wasn’t normal. He could also possibly go around telling people who she was. But, how much damage would that do? How many people would believe him? Of course, she wasn’t quite sure what would happen to him if he knew. She was not a messenger like Gabriel – there was no reason for her to be known as an angel.
“Let’s see,” she drew out the words as she thought. At the current moment she couldn’t see any major repercussions. “As for not being able to figure out what I am – I’m not surprised. For you first have to be the type of human who believes that beings like myself exist.” She rested her arms on the table as she leaned forward. “I’m an angel – Archangel Azraella to be exact.”

Ry stared at her, his breath catching in his throat. He believed her, right away, he believed every word she uttered. "I knew it... I knew you were an angel..." He whispered. "I felt it, I knew you couldn't have just been a dream."

He believed her. That surprised her. He did not look at her as if she was crazy. However, perhaps he should have. She tilted her head to the side as she wondered what he was thinking. Perhaps he thought her to be a guardian angel - one of the angels that did more of the kind deeds. "So now you know. Is that enough to satisfy your curiosity?"
