Pally, when I moved to Georgia when I was 9, I saw snow for the first time that winter. Then when I was 10/11, it snowed to where we had no power. Maybe you were living in the wrong parts, like closer to Atlanta or south of Atlanta, because I did see snow.

Oh, the winter before I moved to Texas... It snowed.

I lived in a suburban town called Woodstock located within 20 miles of Atlanta. Winters were mild and summers were dangerously hot. The one time I saw snow, only a light dusting came and it was all melted by the next day.
