As she apologized he just laughed and waved it off, /I hear much worse from other students all the time. That would be why I don't share a room. He wasn't a very nice guy and after him nobody wanted to share with me. I don't really mind./ He sighed as the medicine started to kick in and the pain started to fade. He kicked off his shoes and got comfy. /They're not headache medicine, that doesn't work. They're tranquilizers. They found that it's the only thing that really works well. I just shut off my own brain for a bit. Also I don't usually get it this bad when I go. It's just because I had to mess with that idiots mind to keep him out of trouble. I can't do that too often./ Already his mental voice was sounding a little slurred.
He propped himself up on his pillows and looked over at her. /I don't mind,/ he replied, secretly very glad that she was actually talking with him. /If it comes to it we can be outcast together./
