Persona: Charade of Shadows [OOC]

A group of teens all going to the same high school hear about the mysterious events that occurred 20 years ago in a small town known as Inaba. Upon hearing of the mysterious "midnight channel" they decide to check it out. When nothing happens, they are all disappointed but not surprised. It is only once they get home after school the next day that these teens receive a strange email with a link to a website and nothing else. When this link is clicked, white noise appears on screen, and the words "I am thou..... Thou art I....." can be heard inside each person's head. Each experiences a unique dream of their persona awakening. That's when the disappearances start around town. Those chosen few investigate these disappearances, but their absence from school begins to bring suspicion down upon them. The pressure causes them to break into factions and "compete" to prove the others evil(and/or wrong). But, is it really one of them? Or could it be something beyond their control...?

You would take the role of one of these teens with your own persona to combat the evils in the world, both seen by normal eyes, and invisible to anyone who doesn't have a persona. Your Persona is a representation of the feelings you refuse to accept as your own. There are several elements that your Persona can be strong in, as well as weak to. Each strength gets it's own special attack. You may pick one of each. You will also have stats that you can customize with 10 points to start. Every time you level up, you earn a set number of skill points which you can apply any way you wish. I am also considering adding social links, but that depends on what you guys want.

REMEMBER: A max of 10 stat points to start.
Strength- Indicates the effectiveness of persona's physical attacks.
Magic- Indicates the effectiveness of the persona's magic skills.
Endurance- Indicates the effectiveness of the persona's defensive abilities.
Agility- Indicates the speed of the Persona.

Just curious; How do stat points work? Are we using a dice system or is it just there for being there?

Well I was thinking dice in terms of things like sneak attacks. Otherwise they're just there. Because a dice system for an rp might be too slow. But as you can see, it's not like people are lining up to join. Lol so if want to start with a dice system I wouldn't object.

I don't think a dice system is all that necessary XD Though, I was wondering. What about speeeeeeed? Or Agility/dexterity? XD There's heaps more possible stat listings that could go in there XD I don't think that's all they had in the games right? o.o

on a side note, I love persona XD I'll be up for joining in, and I can always add it to my RP list for shameless advertising XD

Also, does that mean max of 10 points 'total'? Or you can only have a stat at up to 10 starting off?

Also, I could think of a heap more elements to throw into the mix too =3 unless you only wanted that list of mainstream options ^.^

On a regular basis, including weekends, Josuke can be seen donning his normal school uniform. He has however made several changes to it, most noticeably the gold chain attached to the left side of his collar. Under the jacket is a completely plain green T-shirt, thin enough to reveal part of Josuke's muscular form. His legs are rather long, though are covered well enough by his pants, which still seem a bit high water; his legs end in relatively big feet, over which Josuke wears a pair of plain black loafers which give off a nice shine. Josuke is also known to wear a hat, seemingly torn at the back. Because of the way he wears it, it is unknown wear his hat ends and his hair begins, though at closer inspection, it can be seen from the side, that there is in fact a gold button on either end. At the center of Josuke's hat is a special police badge, presumeably his father's.
Persona: Altair
Persona Appearance: Altair is a humanoid persona which displays mechanical features. It seems to have a very bulky, muscular physique. Over its large muscles, it seems to be wearing a plated metal armor, almost appearing mechanical. This armor has a light blue and bubble-gum pink color scheme with a heart motif. One shoulder guard is spiked with a cord which extends into Altair's helmet. The other shoulder looks like a lady bug.

Character Bio: Josuke is very hotheaded, impetuous, and confrontational. He is not very serious or focused and tended to fool around, but appears to be incredibly savvy. At crucial points in battles, he will verbally predict what will happen to his enemies, and quote, often verbatim, what they will say. His favorite book is Les Miserables by Victor Hugo. His favorite movie is The Little Mermaid. Sometimes, he will murmur to himself in Japanese, "What a pain". Also, Josuke's father is Italian, once a gangster, who left Europe, eventually finding himself in Japan, where he found a job in law enforcement. In Japan, he met Josuke's mother, a native Japanese woman. Josuke's father died two years after he was born after being killed on Christmas eve of mysterious causes.

Character Bio: Donny's always that sort of quiet foreign kid, that everyone tries to make friends with and thinks is all cool, but no one ever really bothers to confirm it. While certainly no wallflower, no one really knows much about Donny aside from some publicity stuff. He was part of a martial art's club, and when that got shut down he joined a song and dance group. He's an eccentric, but he's also pretty harmless. But if only they knew; Donny loathes his brothers. His older brother, Louis, is a skilled musician and business man. His younger brother is simply adorable, and everyone coddles him. And while Donny seems like a cool, stoic badass, in truth he's just a lazy bum who thinks he's brilliant but at best he's just competent. It's been a while since he's been practicing his martial arts, and he hasn't really been applying himself to his song and dance club. He distance himself from his family while maintaining an appearance of love and care (which isn't fake, but not all true), and tends to spend most of his time at computer cafes or causing trouble.
Other: Donny drives a Toyota Camry, which he has a bit souped up with better sound systems and shock absorbers. He's also not Japanese, but what his ethnicity is he keeps secrete. Apparently, it's not something he likes to talk about.

I just stole the list directly from Persona 4 (minus almighty because no one has it until late in the game anyway [NEW GAME + DOESN'T COUNT >.<])

So, by strength and weakness I was looking more for what Lucius did with his. Other than that, excellent job.

I think I'm going to add 1-3 more stats. No need worry right now,as it might take an hour or two for me to make up my mind on what I need to add/subtract from the CS if anything.

Funny enough, I've never played persona 3 or 4, though I want to, only the first ones on SNES... or maybe it was playstation, I don't remember cause it's been AAAGGEEESSSS. Though I have played a couple of SMT games. I think one was digital devil saga 2.

Yeah, first one on PS1. I've actually never played any SMT. I played Persona 1,2, and 4. Unfortunately, I couldn't find 3 cheap enough to get both. >.<
