2368. The planet known as earth has been reduced to nothing but water with the occasional mountain top sticking out. Antartica has melted and months worth of never ending rain has led to the planet being consumed by the one all living creatures needed to survive. However, humanity, and the creatures they once shared the land with are not wipred out. About a century before the Great Flood, underwater cities were being built. At first it was just for leisure, particularly for the rich. People could walk around and look at the life of the ocean swimming around them as they ate ice cream or talked about their lives on the surface. But now these cities were central to survival and expanding. However each city was built the same way. There was the central dome, which held all the shops, buissinesses, and restraunts. It also held the zoos where animals that once walked the surface lived. Surrounding the central dome were the farm and generator domes, which raised farm animals that would be killed for food and produced the cities energy. Branching out from these domes, like a spiders web, where the private domes owned by families, big and small. Each dome held one house and the size of the dome, and thus the house, depended on how rich the families where.

Joshua Tamashii

Joshua walked towards the central dome, hands in his pockets and his gaze above him. He was going to the zoo today with his childhood friend Amaya Yashia, partial for fun and partially for studying. Joshua was a young man of 13, his hair that was black with with enough small white spots to resembled what was once known as the night sky. His left eye was the same coloration, although his right eye had none since it was missing, a fact caused by an accident several years ago. He wore his favorite outfit of a plain white t-shirt covered by a black button up t-shirt, black jeans with several chains attatched, and a black pair of sneackers. His right eye was covered in an eyepatch as usual and he had a black earring, resembling the head of a dragon dangling from his left ear.
~~Well this should be a fun day~~ he thought to himself as he arrived at the zoo

Amelia Averyonna

"Where did that little bitch go! Somebody find her now!" a voice shouted through an abandoned section of town.

Amelia paid no heed to it and continued to runm the food she had stolen tucked under one arm. A young girl of 11, Amelia had been living on the street since she was four. He hair was long and wild, covered in dirt and greasy from lack of proper washing, and looked rather black. Her eyes were emerald green, something that made her easy to recognize in the area since very few people had green eyes for some reason. He skin was as dirty as her hair and covered in cuts or buises that may or may not have infections. Her clothing was litte more then rags and did very little to cover her.

Continuing to run from her pursuers she ducked into a nearby building and ran into a random room, quickly ducking into the closest hiding space she could find. Slowing her breathing down she listened as she heard several people enter the building and split up. one of them passed her hiding space and stopped for a second. Amelia held her breathe for a few seconds before the person left. after waiting a few more seconds Amelia let her breathe out in a sigh that was louder then she had intended. within seconds her pursuer found her and pinned her to the proud as she left out a scream.

"I suggest you stay quiet girly, unless you want to lose that pretty face of yours" Her captuer said as he raised a fist while grabbing the rag covering Amelia's upper body

Elyse van Isis

Elyse van Isis, formerly Elyse Griffonbane, sat in the backyard of her home, staring at an octapus that was crawling along the glass dome that surrounded it. Only 4 years old, elyse had golden blond hair and violet eyes that were a result of a genetic experiment done to one of her ancestors long ago. She wore a plain blue t-shirt, a pair of jeans, and was barefooted. Elyse used her mother's maiden name since her father was currently in jail and her mother refused to use that man's name any longer. Her father had traumatized them both for a long time but that was all behind them now and she was living peaceful now with her mother and her grandparents.

Amaya Yashia
Amaya was just a common girl moving with her childhood friend joshua, She pushed her unnatural Snow white hair. She had a genetic mutation that changed her hair color form a light blonde to a snow white due to a house fire she was caught in.. lucky joshua had noticed and saved her...with the cost of her hair coor changing and severa deep burns. Amaya's gentle purple eyes looked forward but also to joshua with a smile "I hope it wil be."She commented rubbing her bandaged arms.. Her skin was slowly growing back and o keep from bacertia burning her exposed musce she wore bandages around her neck, legs, her shoulders and cheast along with her torso and her arms. She was wearing a light pink ribbon in her hair to matched her off the shoulder long sleeve shirt with a short white skirt. She was careful of not falling and had just gotton out of the hospital. wishing to enjoy the outside she had her one strap bag with medical supplies just incase and to change them after a few hours as instructed. "I think it wil be fun."She said
Ryu Vanisis
"What the hell are you all doing in my home..Get your hands off that girl if you wish to keep them."Said a voice as a male in his late teens stood behind them with a baseball bat ready to swing it as he swung down at the guys head.
Rose Vanisis
Rose was relaxing on her new couch in her newish home. It was werid having freedom again after so long being her husbands captive. Every now and thing she woud wince doing something on accident feeling like he was going to beat her again. She had to tell herself he was gone and wasn't going to come get them. Rose had tripple ocks and a great alarm system in hers and elyse's new home. Here and there she went to see lucus but made sure there were tons of guards...She knew if she didn't keep being paranoud that something like him escaping would happen. She kept hers and her daughter's location and everything about them hidden when she see lucus so he couldn't find them. it was wrong to see him but she still loved him but she wasn't going to let him harm them anymore.

"Depends on what the animals do" Joshua said" Though luckily non of them spit fire otherwise you'd be trying to stay far away from the zoo, am I right Miss Pyrophobia?"

The guy didn't have enough time to react and fall to the ground unconscious

"Who are you... what are you doing here, this place is supposed to be abandoned." Amelia said, getting up and backing away from Ryu, her muscles tense, ready to start running at the slightest sign

Elyse got up and walked over to the where the octapus was, pushing her face and hands against the glass for a few seconds before turning away and running over to Rose, pointing at the octapus with a questioning look on her face. Elyse had been mute since birth and because of this her father had found her a very easy hostage to use against Rose when Rose was being unobedient

"I can;t help but be scared of fire...my body shows proof I could have died from the wounds alone if I wasn't in a filtered isolation chamber till i was stable.'Said Amaya getly "and if there is any huge fire I am running away."She commented gently feeing her bandaged arms gently watching him.
"It is yes and I just saw you running and guys chasing so I chased as well... my name is Ryu...I am in the richer part of town...If you need money you can just find me...but please stay at my house for the night...I wil make sure you don't go hungry and I wi get you a new part of uh clothing.."Said Ryu extending his hand.

Rose Got up picking elyse up taking her over to the octopse "he is an octopse...He has eight legs and when scared I beieve his squirts ink to distract predators to get away safely..."said rose

[Joshua Tamashii]

"Yeah, I know and I'll carr you out of the fire... again" Joshua said as they reached the central dome" So you want to go straight for the zoo or... head home since there are fire breathers around down cause today is the parade"

"Oh and what do you want from me in exchange? A few nights alone with me? My servitude?" Amelia asked, her tone angry" I've been there and I'll decline right now. Living on the streets might not be as safe but I prefer it more"

Elyse pointed at the octapus then at the small pond in their yard, which held a small number of fish

"Wait you want mr. octopse in the pond? I am going to have to make it bigger and he is dangerous."Said rose genty.
"I wil. be fine as long as you are with me."She commented gently trying to fight back her fear.

"NO None of that I wish to help...Ssee I ran a shelter for homeless people and help them get back on their feet, they get food, shelter, medica treatment and bathing areas....I wish to help keep from seeing another person dead in an alley ,"said rose

The moment Elyse heard the word dangerous she hugged Rose tightly. She knew that word ment bad things and her natural reaction to it was fear

"Well come along then" Joshua said, wrapping an arm around amaya as he lead her through the crowd

"You run a 'shelter' yet offer to take me to your house. Pervert" Amelia said" I know what you want but I refuse to give it to you"

"NOw if I was a pervert I woud be trying to do what he just tried....Now think about it...if I wanted to have sex with you i woud try by now...I woudn't have harmed that man to save you...either accept the help or try not to get caught cause next time I might not be abe to hep."He said
"its alright elyse."Said Rose hugging elyse.

"Be careful with how hard you hold me....you might cause some pain with the lack of skin."She warned following where he lead her to. she held a hand on to his shirt keeping cloose as they weaved through the crowd

Amelia silently weighed her options. As it was chances of her lving much longer were very slim. If she accepted his help temporarily she might live a bit longer after leaving him. It was that or die
"Alright... fine you have a deal" She said, relaxing

Elyse didn't reply, just shaking in her mother's arms

"You know there are certain words wyou can't use around her Rose" a voice said from behind them. A girl, around 11, stood there. She had light blond hair a chocolate brown eyes. She wore a sleeveless pink shirt, a pair of short jean shorts, and black and white sneacker. She was Satoko Sonozaki, Lucus' former adopted sister

"I know" Joshua said calmly

"Just making sure."Said Amaya gently resting her head on his shouder as they walked. her hand kept ahold of his shirt as she smied enjoying her time with her best friend from childhood. they look total opposites on the spectrum of social groups but they co exist perfectly.

"I know I keep forgetting."Said rose giving elyse her favorite bear "how have you been sakoto."She asked.
"this way."Said ryu eading her out and down the street
