So is anyone familiar with Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends?

Well i hope so. I really loved the show, and it inspired this RP idea.

you dont have to know the show, because it isnt going to take place in Foster's home. It is only using the idea of abandoned imaginary friends and seeing where it can go.

I'm thinking of setting up a group for this if I get positive feedback, and I will be looking for someone to help manadge it with me.

~Basic plot outline of RP~

:A group of aboandoned, runaway, or forgotten imaginary friends have been gathered up and taken from their people. For some reason or another they find each other and create themselves a place( home of somesort). There new Imaginary friends join and they help each other. The friends perhaps try to get back to their people or find new ones. Whatever it might be they will need each others help.:

What about the idea that the imaginary friends can understand the thoughts of the people they were/are with?

Imaginary friends are creatures/animals with weird structures..and it is somewhat a fable cartoon like animals can talk like humans and understand humans ..correct me if I'm wrong D

Well in my version, I assumed the friends could control whether they were visible or not. Limits are placed when they are invisible. Such as the people can not hear them, feel them... (This may also be an advantage.)

If you, or anyone else has an idea please share.

As far as understanding the creators thoughts(telepathy, If that is what you were implying) will be for the friends who have lasted past the creators age of 8 and had close bonds with them.

@smoochies as we are using the show as a base for this i understand. However I still hope people with use their imagination(pun intended) and change or add things with their own ideas.
