In the near future, the year 2095, the US has gone into a state of wealth. The US has become one of the wealthiest and most powerful country in all of history. One day there was a scientific breakthrough. A type of serum to give who ever inhales it a type of energy boost. Increased strength, speed and endurance. But, it had certain side-effects that caused it to be a huge toxic chemical danger. Like loss of memory, emotion-loss, decaying of flesh and the biggest side-effect...the hunger. The serum was kept under lock down. Or at least it was until....the serum got out. Countries started dyeing within hours and within a day, the Earth was wiped out. All over the world in different countries are people that have somehow survived this. Now it seems all hope is loss? No, it isn't. When all this first started there was a type of ship built to take everyone to an lost island called 'Makara' where it is inhabited and everyone can live there peacefully and start a new life. Thing is....it's in the middle of the Artic Ocean. Since there are a ring of clouds surrounding the island it keeps a lot of the cold air from breaking through and making it live-able.
