"You're allowing yourself to be distracted. There's too much going on around you that you're trying to take in." He ignored her fatigue, if she wanted this she'd have to work for it. To stop now would only make them have to restart later. He tossed the bag of ear plugs over to her. "Put those in. We'll see if that can help cut down on the distractions."
"Yessir," she said almost mocking him a bit. She caught the ear plugs, and rolled them in her hand for a minute. She finally popped them in her ears. As the slowly started to fill in her ears everything went silent. She looked up at Logan, not being able to hear anything. She could do this just forget everything else. Forget her past forget her future forget her now. She nodded she could do this.
Nightwing: Way to get your feet wet!
He raised a brow at her slightly rebellious tone and laughed to himself as she put them in. If she didn't have that attitude she wouldn't be able to be a good X-Men. She could do this, she just needed to stop over thinking things. He waited until she nodded then he made a little shooing motion with his hands to tell her to go.
The x-men to be closed her eyes blocking out everything. She felt the feeling of fading off and when she opened her eyes they were slightly more cat-like. She started to run but stopped at the edge of a meadow. She turned around and made a gesture that was clearly, you can't catch me. With that she bolted. Wolverine had a high weight. If she could get him going fast enough she could jump against a tree and hit him.

Interesting... he caught a glimps of her eyes before she ran off. It seemed his plan was working. Perhaps she would-
He blinked. Had she really just done that? Not to ignore a challenge he ran after her full tilt, chasing her through the trees and brush. She was fast but then so was he. But what he made up for in power she made up for in mobility.
Artemis felt a smile slide onto her face as a rampaging bull followed behind her. She looked ahead dodging under a tree that had fallen over the path. She saw a tree in her path and ran straight toward it. Wolverine was only a few feet behind her. She had kept at a steady pace, and let him catch up. Only a few feet from the tree she leaped up and grabbed a hold of a higher branch. She pulled herself up onto it and peered down at him, she hopped he would run into the tree. Then she would drop down on his head.

The Wolverine jumped over the fallen tree before continuing after her. He was just starting to catch up when she did the unexpected and jumped straight up into the tree. Realizing her trick he growled and skidded to a stop, putting out a hand to keep from running head first into said tree before looking up to see where she'd gone.
A cat like smile had appeared on Artemis's face. Soon enough she dropped down from the tree landed on his shoulders and pushed him forward toward the tree. She landed on the ground in a crouch and started to run again. She finally headed up to the trees again and ran along the branches. She was zig zagging and back tracking, never staying the same tree for two long.
