Belial is a prince! He grew up living in the castle but he never really had a good relationship with his parents, since he tended to be ignored by them because he was one of the youngest and weakest. He was raised by a nanny and liked to secretly explore outside in the magical forest that is near the castle because he enjoyed playing in the sun. One day, on his way to the forest, he met his best friend.
HAHAHA WHEN HE WAS A TEENAGER HIS BEST (ONLY) FRIEND WAS A GIRL WHO LIKED PLAYING PRANKS AND ONE DAY BELIAL PISSED HER OFF SO BAD (BECAUSE HE HAD DEVELOPED A SEXIST ATTITUDE) THAT SHE CAST A SPELL ON HIM THAT TURNED HIM FEMALE FOR SEVEN MONTHS AND IT WAS THE MOST EMBARRASSING, AWKWARD, AND TERRIFYING TIME IN BELIAL'S LIFE AND IN THE END HE GAINED SOME PERSPECTIVE ON WHAT IT IS LIKE TO BE A WOMAN SO THE MOMENT HE CHANGED BACK INTO A MAN HE BECAME LESS OF A DOUCHE BAG TOWARDS WOMEN AND INSTEAD HE BECAME AN ASSHOLE TOWARDS ALL GENDERS, EQUALLY. THEN HIS BEST FRIEND DIED AND HE MELLOWED OUT AND STARTED TREATING PEOPLE MORE REASONABLY BUT THE TRUTH IS THAT HE WAS ONLY RESPECTFUL BECAUSE HE DELUDED HIMSELF INTO THINKING THAT HIS BEST FRIEND’S GHOST IS HAUNTING HIM AND IF HE ACTS LIKE A JERK FOR NO GOOD REASON, SHE WILL HURT HIM. LIKE THE OPPOSITE OF "A JERK WITH A HEART OF GOLD" AND INSTEAD "GOLD WITH THE HEART OF A JERK".
Most people were suspicious of his new, friendlier and respectful attitude, but eventually the public decided that his fake persona of kindness was better than his previous tendencies of acting like an entitled brat. Belial started to venture more and more into the commoner's presence, always asking questions about how they lived their life or spending ridiculous amounts of money at shops. After the first few trips to the commoner's market, Belial and his indulgent shopping sprees were definitely more welcomed. He began to form sincere bonds with the people and started to spend more time with the peasants than the aristocrats. He no longer had to act like he cared about them and was genuinely changed into a decent person around the commoners, with Belial only treating other nobles with coldness and cynicism.
The more time he spent with the people though, the more people began to notice Belial's...slipping, sanity. He would be seen talking to himself or spacing out at random moments. Sometimes he would even preach and ramble about something random that was irrelevant to what people were speaking to him about. Then, Belial started to point out things nobody else could see or hear. Still, he had become their beloved almost
noble prince, so people did not want to start labeling him as crazy.
Things began to change when he started picking out random people on the street and predicting their death. Belial always spoke unconcerned with a dreamy expression and tended to be seen with a gentle, innocent smile. Soon, alongside his deadly predictions, Belial began to spout out prophecies; though thankfully there contained both good and bad. He ceased speaking normally and either spoke some sort of prophecy or through a quote said by a celebrity, a poem, or a riddle.
Nobody knows why Belial's insanity began, only that it started after his best friend's death and even the best mind healers could not help him. He gained a reputation as the benevolent, but insane prince. Since Belial has remained harmless and friendly towards the commoners, he has maintained his good relationship with them. Their lack of scorn (to his face), unlike the nobles and royalty, has earn Belial's respect and he tends to act protective of the people. But even if he is currently unhappy with his family and adores most commoners, he would be heartbroken to learn about the secret rebellion and would be torn about which side to choose.
On his own, Belial secretly practices dark magic and blood rituals in the forest. He initially only started as a way to figure out why he kept hallucinating and hearing voices, but the forbidden magic he practiced became addicting. Whether or not it is all a delusion or not, Belial came to believe that he was speaking to
magic itself. He no longer cares what people think of him as long as nobody stands in his way of him and his conversations with
magic.
Queen Bellona Valentia Black
age 121, married at 35
Bellona cherishes family above all, and her loyalty is to her husband, children, and her brother's family. She rarely interferes with Belzeneff's wishes because she only wants the best for her family, and in her eyes, Belzeneff keeping the power for himself and suppressing the magic of wizards and oppressing the poor means that nobody will be powerful enough to harm any of her precious children. She had her sister-in-law teach her how to brew powerful potions and then altered the recipe to instill loyalty in those who drank it. She wants absolutely no chance that somebody will betray them and makes sure that the wizard council and staff in the castle are secretly under obedience potions. Bellona goes to great lengths to make sure nobody will have the chance to harm her family and was initially one of those overprotective mothers who never let the kids do anything dangerous until they were adults.

Bellerophon Black

Whenever he is mad and needs to flip a table or fight someone, he looks to the nearest bystander and says, “HOLD MY FLOWER” like one of those girls who make their friends hold their hoop earrings while they go beat some bitch’s ass.

He actually has hoop earrings though, in fact, he has a lot of jewelry. He doesn’t wear them however, he just likes gold. His favorite part of being a prince is the gold. To Bellerophon, gold is a fabulous reminder of how rich he is and how poor everyone else is. He loves showing off his fortune. He loves gold so much that his magic is based on gold. He is a prodigy at transfiguration, which is defined by some dictionary as “A marked change in form or appearance; a metamorphosis. Or a change that glorifies or exalts.”
Hell yeah he loves to glorify all of his fancy gold, and what better way than to transfigure gold ore into fabulous gold objects. He can change gold into almost anything he can think of and most of the flamboyant ornaments he wears were created by Bellerophon himself.
When he is not flaunting his wealth, Bellerophon is at his job. Even though his family is the richest people in Wiz, he actually enjoys working and is somewhat of a workaholic. Why? Well, that’s just more money and gold for him. Sometimes, when he is in a good and gracious mood, he will even donate some of his hard earned money to the poor. That is Bellerophon’s favorite method of proving how rich he is; he is so rich, he can effortless give it away to the peasants! Of course, Bellerophon will usually only give his money to pretty women who manage to catch his attention. His job, however, does pay well. He has one of the more gruesome careers.
He is an EXECUTIONER, a selective branch of the protectors. When the royal family or wizard council condemns someone, mostly criminals, to death the executioners carry out the sentence. Some executioners have the opportunity to secretly visit exile/prisoner planets in order to keep track of the outcast wizards and any who seem to be growing too dangerous or attempting to escape. Executioners are also the ones who torture, spy, search for fugitives, and do the secret dirty work.
Belshazzar Black
age 31
Belshazzar is an aspiring inventor. He enjoys conducting experiments and fusing magic with technology. He is extremely loyal to his family and is determined to invent things that will help his parents have more power. Belshazzar really adores his mother most of all because she supported his fascination with inventing, even when an experiment would fail and he ended up hurt. Belshazzar has scars all over his body, most notably on his face, and whenever he gets injured his mother was the one who would stay by his side while he recovered.
He tends to keep to himself and does not really talk to his siblings since the closest ones to him in age are years apart from him. Sometimes he tries to bribe Bellerophon into letting him experiment with his gold and ends up giving his older brother the finished product unless one of his parents wants it. He does hate his oldest brother, Belladon, though. Belshazzar does not like that he is probably plotting to kill their father and would gladly kill his brother if it weren't for the fact that Belladon is stronger. He hasn't mentioned that to anybody though because Belshazzar is sure he would end up dead for that. He just does not understand why anyone would hate Belzeneff, of course, since Belshazzar is a sheltered and somewhat spoiled prince.
He has a tendency to wear more casual clothes than the rest of the nobles, but only because he is constantly experimenting and does not want his prince clothes to be ruined. Belshazzar also has a pet dinosaur named Belbel.
