All I ever lead to is chaos.
If, after we have recognized intuitively a number of simple truths, we wish to draw any inference from them, it is useful to run them over in a continuous and uninterrupted act of thought, to reflect upon their relations to one another, and to grasp together distinctly a number of these propositions so far as is possible at the same time. For this is a way of making our knowledge much more certain, and of greatly increasing the power of the mind.
We ought to give the whole of our attention to the most insignificant and most easily mastered facts, and remain a long time in contemplation of them until we are accustomed to behold the truth clearly and distinctly.
The Meditator reasons that he need only find some reason to doubt his present opinions in order to prompt him to seek sturdier foundations for his knowledge. Rather than doubt every one of his opinions individually, he reasons that he might cast them all into doubt if he can doubt the foundations and basic principles upon which his opinions are founded.
If the game turns out to be even half f bastions exellence, I'll have a new favourite developer.

Bastion is the single best game I have played in like a decade. I put it above all the massive projects like ME and DA, Saints and all else becouse it was utterly simplistic in it's approach yet delivered more feeling and better narriation then any RPG i was playing at the time. The audio for the game is goddamn oscar worthy. The games only real, solid flaw for me was the fact that the game had to many choices for weapons, but you only really used 2 of them becouse all else was to situational.
So... Worth it? Yes, more so then any game I have ever played in the past 10 years. I am obviusly super biased, and many will laugh at this incredibly over the top view. But to me, Bastion is everything I ever wanted in a game as far as atmosphere, story and style goes.

Yes. This beats that, as much as I liked it. But bastion is pure gameplay, wrapped in a ball of sensual music, atmosphere that cannot be beat and a narrative voice that makes my body tingle with badly supressed homoerotic feelings. (Seriusly, DAT VOICE)

Yes. I am burnt out on Diablo clones thou and torchlight lasted me for 10-11 solid hours before I got bored. (that is still good, infact that is great for games these days.) Granted, Bastion has the core of a hack and slash aswell but I didnt even REALIZE it untill after.
