Bump.
Great!
Metro 2033 is rather easy to pick up. That story is a nuclear war leads 40,000 Muscovioans down to live in the Moscow Metro. They face danger from extremists such as the Communists and fascists, as well as mutants from the radioactivity. Our's is similar, but we're a group of kids in Scotland in an old hidden part of town, and probably minus the Nazi's. Red Dawn is an old-ish film about Russians invading America and a group of kids resisting them. The Metro 2033 references to the post-apocalyptic scenario with mutants, and the Red Dawn references to the teenagers all needing to live together and their issues and what not. I guess Tomorrow, When The War Began could be used instead instead of Red Dawn for a media reference if that would help.
Anywho, you have the basic understanding, so you should be OK
Yeah, that's about right, but for people who are familiar with those media then they would get the gist of it from the title etc.
Not really Fallout, no... A lot darker, grimier and claustrophobic than Fallout. Well, that's good anyway

Excellent
5 people so far, another one or two and I'll fire up the OOC![]()
Should I just make the OOC and hope someone/people join from there?
I'd like to join.
Can anybody think of a title? Maybe something quite poetic, but its up to you guys.
I simply said Metro 2033 because it was the closest media reference that I know of. I didn't say it was a Metro 2033 roleplay.
A group of kids (this is the Red Dawn reference) survive the nuclear apocalypse by hiding out underground. The part in italics is the Metro 2033 reference. I honestly don't know where you are getting confused...
I'll sign up. I absolutely loved Mary King's Close when I visited there some years ago. As for a title, I would suggest "As the Close Carries On." Not fabulous, but it's unique.
"Losing is fun!"
