Greek Mythology RP (To be named)

So, the premise is a return of the Greek Pantheon to the Modern world, this however won't be some high school friends being quested with tasks of love and betrayal, leave the children books at home. I'm hoping this will be something very creative, gritty and dark with (Hopefully) some epic undertones like the old books of Homer and Virgil. Oh and don't worry you don't have to have extensive knowledge of the Epics but some background knowledge on Mythology might be helpful.

So right now I have the setting, modern age London. Quite dank, mysterious and full of people and places. The plot will revolve around four characters that find a Tome, not knowing what it is they all read it and as you can imagine, shit goes crazy. You will be flung into the maelstrom of Greek Mythology as it unties and unifies in the modern world.

I think I'm going to play this one pretty close to the chest for now, you know the main storyline but everything else you will come to learn as the plot and characters develop. So I guess it's time for people to cite their interest, this is going to be a high casual RP, I'm not really looking for quantity but quality.

This has peaked my interest. I do have a question though; so, will we play as original characters, or members of greek mythology thrust into the modern world?

You will play as Original character and you essentially develop into legends of Mythology, you are the new generation of Achilles/Ajax/Odysseus ect.

I'm thinking at the moment it would be an awakening of the Greek gods, or at least a realization they are still there, with the fact that they just haven't been involved because they haven't seen a need to intervene, but something has changed and they have been spurred into action once more. Of course if anyone has input or has something they would really like to include don't hesitate, nothing is exactly written in stone as of yet.

Is this going to be a post-per-day kind of thing? I really like the premise, but I already have quite a few on my plate.

No I don't think I would like it that intensive either, post as often as you can I would say but I'm not looking for complete commitment. As I said I like Quality over Quantity, all posts can be 3-4 paragraphs as it's what I see as the perfect size. Of course their will be the initial flurry of posts ect when this gets running but I would say a post every 3 days or something similar? 2-3 posts a week would be cool with me.
