History: Darryl Gates grew up to be a police officer right before the outbreak. It was his rookie year and he had never been mentally prepared for such chaos and anarchy. On a call the officer hesitated to shoot a stranger who was covered in blood, nearly costing him his life if a store owner had not stepped in and pulled him off. The store owner was unfortunately bitten and they never saw eachother again. He knew that man was probably dead. Being parted from friends and family took a lot from him. He still mourns to this day of his loss thinking the only one still alive in his name was him. Yet again at times he can't tell even if he is alive.
