The Long Ear Clan

This is Sengoku Jidai, the age of the country at war. The Long Ear Clan is a little known village in the mountains outside Kyoto, and what the rest of the country is ignorant of, is the Long Ear's involvement in maintaining the stability of the country at large. Comprised primarily of a guild of elite ninjas, the Long Ears bear a strange secret, such a secret that would entice them to keep themselves hidden from the rest of the country... Nearly everyone within the clan, and particularly the guild of ninjas, is part animal.

No, we're not talking about furries, sorry to disappoint you, but we are talking about people with animal like traits, some going as far as to have the ears and even tails of the animal aspects within them. Raccoons, foxes, cats and even scorpions are the primary contributors to the ninja guild, the leader of which is so blessed by his animal as to have a full scorpion tail growing from his spine. Bears, wolves, oxen, and other animals of the like make up the bands of samurai that retain the village from outsiders, should any wander into the mountains. And various other animals make up the humble villagers that make this village their home.

So, there's the idea. The pairing's going to be up to you, i've got a few more specific plot lines thought up for whatever you choose, either ninjaxsamurai, ninjaxninja, samuraixsamurai, you get the picture. Gender for your character is at your discretion, i will do mature themes if the role play merits it, i have zero problems with our characters having a night of passion before a dangerous mission. But regardless, i will be playing a female, and that is non-negotiable. This is going to start out as 1x1, but if by some freak accident it gets really popular, i'll merge the roleplays and we'll become a team and see where things go. Post a reply, or PM me, whichever you think to do first, i'll be checking in on this so i'll see what you say no matter what, unless hte system freaks out.
