Humanity,


Humanities empire spread from system to system, they spread quickly and colonized planet after planet. The other Alien races thought humanity was weak despite their empires size. Many hostile races challenged them but were met with an equal if not more powerful force. Many other races welcomed humanity as a valuable trade partner or as a useful ally. After years of being contested by Alien races Humanity proved their strength against a extremely hostile race of reptilian humanoids known as Caldirians, they had been living on the edge of human colonies for year and finally after years of hostilities the war broke out. Humanity and the Caldirians were caught in a bloody conflict that eventually ended in the Caldirian's defeat, after their defeat humanity claim the Caldirian colonies as their own, this led to a mass exodus of the Caldirian people from their colonies. They Caldirian people now take up residence in their home system, in an attempt to cover more ground the Caldirans pioneered exploration of unexplored space, they carried out these expeditions rather carelessly not thinking of the dangers that best be left alone. After confirmation was received from the Council which is a union of all the major races, humanity began their exploration of uncharted space, unlike the Caldirians they were much more careful of the planets they explored.

It was reported by spies that the Caldirians had discovered something in one of their explorations, no nation could figure out what this was, but soon Caldirian space went dark, no transmissions came through no trade ships came finally Humanityl elected to send a small fleet to investigate Caldirian space. As the fleet entered Caldirian space they lost contact with the fleet but soon received a transmission. The entire Caldirian species had been killed their cities were nothing more then smoldering ruins and their fleets were nothing more then ship grave yards. But this was not the worst news, a mysterious and powerful alien race had slaughtered the Caldirian people, but the second the expedition was noticed the race opened fire upon the ships easily destroying the fleet.

In a response to the race which had been deemed the Hierarchs humanity sent a massive fleet to Caldirian space to show they would not be pushed around. As the fleet entered Caldirian space they were immediately assaulted by the Hierarchs. The following battle would better be labeled slaughter, ship after ship after ship in the human fleet fell while the Hierarchs took very few casualties. After the defeat the Hierarch ships descended upon the well protected human space, planet after planet fell and slowly humanity was pushed to the brink of extinction. Now humanities empire is gone, their massive fleets reduced to small his and run fleets, their supposed allies did not come to their aid, their allies did not accept fleeing refugees but instead turned them back to their dooms.

Now 40 years have past since the Hierarchs invaded, humanity is clinging to existence, living in hidden cities, in some of the many ship grave yards, in the rubble of destroyed cities or on distant colonies or planets. The Hierarchs hunt for the remaining humans looking through the massive ship grave yards that dot the old human solar systems or the rubble of the cities and even some distant planets. Humans have discovered that the Hierarchs have a weak ground based army but their fleets are incredibly powerful, so long as the humans can avoid the Hierarchs air force they can fight, but even despite the odds humanity fight anywhere and anyway possible, ambushing small ships and fleeing when the larger ones arrive or battling on foot against Hierarch ground troops, many humans even choose to just hide and hope they can survive.

This is were the RP starts.

If people want to play as a alien race pitch me the idea of the race then me or you can write a history for the race.

Im not strict when it comes to post length i understand sometimes you arent given much to work with, but if i notice a recurring theme i shall take action.

NO god modding, keep this realistic this is supposed to be a struggle emotionally and physicaly.

In game relationships are allowed just keep it to a decent level.

History: she grew up on the streets and was already alone before the fight reached her home. Her younger brother was her last family member and very sickly. He disappeared while she was on a hunting trip. She has not gotten over it.
