    Old-School Fantasy (Reboot) IC2

"I'm departing to search for a catalyst for Black Dawn," Judas said. "Kira, I'm trusting you to take care of the fortress and repel any intruders should they find this place, understood?"

"Absolutely, Master," Kira beamed, always happy to get a new order. "Are you sure you don't need me to join you in your search?"

"Quite. Those Rising Sun cultists have gotten riled up as of late, and with your unique characteristics, particularly in the arcane sense..." Which was the candy-coated way of saying "Anybody with a hint of magical potential can tell you're ridiculously powerful, and our Rising Sun enemies will surely find and kill somebody like you." Turning to face the world beyond the secluded fortress the two called both home and a place to study magic, Judas said "My journey should take three months at most. If I don't find an answer in that time, I'll return here. If I take any longer, there may have been some trouble. Remain here."

"Understood, Master~" Kira wouldn't remain here. She never did. Any time Judas left, Kira left as well, protecting and watching him from the shadows without him even knowing of it. She was his psychopathic little stalker, and was perfectly happy that way.

"Five months," Kira hissed quietly, doing her best to not destroy everything in her line of sight out of sheer frustration. Five months since Judas left. Kira had fallen asleep during her first night of stalking, and her master was long-gone by the time she woke up. She'd since been following whatever trails of magic she could find, but thanks to their age, it was impossible to tell where Judas actually was right now. At the present time, she was near the quaint little village of Segasana, going in the exact wrong direction to find her master. Close enough to town to smell freshly-baked goods and faintly hear the shouting of merchants selling their wares, but far enough that she couldn't see anything.

With any luck (not that luck ever smiled on her) she'd at least leave this place with a clue as to where her master was.

    "Its so blue."

The sun shone down on the blue clad girl, filtered through the canopy, as every step she took on the forest path swished and crackled the dead leaves. There wasn't much noise other than the breeze carrying the fresh earthy smell of the forest, the occasional sudden dash through the bush as some animal is startled, and the occasional birdsong. There wasn't really much for her to notice, especially when she started to bound along the path, singing.

"A mole, a mole, there once was,
He dug, he dug, a big hole,
Once done, once done, he fell'n with a crash,
A mole, a mole, who had dug his own grave~ "

Oblivious that the song she was singing so cheerfully was getting more and more morbid, Noruchi skipped on every third syllable and almost crashed into a girl wearing a pointy wide brimmed hat. She had managed to spin and turn at the last moment, barely touching the unknown girl.

"Oh, sorry about that, human. I'm Noruchi. Whats your name?"

    So....If I was a necromancer before...Is this an improvement?
My challenge to myself from now on. I will accompany every IC post with a picture I draw, regardless of how bad it is. I may not be able to put one up if the potato I call my broadband acts up however.

Akira was dragging himself on dirt path, "Waaateeer." He was so thirsty, he's been stuck in this forest for 3 days, not finding one single drop of water. "Ahhh! Just give me a break here!" He turned to the sky, cursing his luck. Suddenly clearing appearing before him, he could see smoke in distance. Turning back to sky, he yelled out "Thanks!" He stretched and picked up the pace.

He entered the village, it was nice village, had decent trade and connection with cities and other villages. He didn't care about that right now, he had to find bar or something. Reading "The Drunkhead's Place" on the top of something that seemed as bar. It had a bit messy windows, stench of alcohol coming from inside, he was sure it was a bar. "Hellou, can I get a bit of water?" He asked with a smile after entering. It was a dirty place, the people inside didn't seem as nice bunch, but he didn't care, he just wanted water. He came to bartender, "Three glasses of water please." The bartender threw a look at him as if he wanted to murder him right on spot. Akira just smiled and waited for his water. The next moment, he was grabbed by two grunts behind him. "Want water son? Let's give you water, shall we?" "Heh? Sure!"

    Ouch...

He was thrown out into the mud. He didn't know why, it was mystery to him. He turned back to sky "Just give me some water!" he cried out to the sky. He hoped for a rain...

"Do not take life too seriously. You will never get out of it alive~"
