Alice nodded, agreeing with that. Either out come would be bad. She'd almost prefer being mutated to being bored. "Yeah, what's the success rate so far with this?" Marcus let out a breathe and looked at them both. "Well we're not doing anything until we're sure it'll work so no worries there. But honestly I don't know about the rest. I'm just the nurse here in case you get sick or something goes wrong. So far we haven't had too many mishaps...at least not bad ones. Everything was fixed quickly."

The intercom buzzed making them all jump. "Mr. Felix, I believe the researchers are all waiting on the blood samples and charts." The woman from before spoke, sounding more than a little impatient. "Right, sorry boss!" He jumped to his feet and got moving. Making one final note and putting all of his things away. "Well, just sit tight, we'll have some answers by lunch today." He glanced at the door and whispered to them, "Don't mind her, she's just a little intense sometimes." Then with a wave he gathered everything up and got out of them booking it down the hall.

"Alright, see you, I suppose," replied Thomas as Marcus left the room. He sighed, swiveling and laying on the bed, hands clasped behind his head. "And now we wait," he muttered, hoping he wouldn't get too bored. He could imagine Alice was busy putting her mind to work on what they had learned, but he was just going to go with the flow and wait to see what happened next.

Alice stayed sitting up, fingers drawing words on her sheets as she thought. Now it was all starting to make sense. All of the supposedly random accidents over the last year and the whole issue with the health center. She couldn't help grinning, most of her theories about them had been proven true. "I wish I could see the look on Professor Jude's face when he realizes I was right! Ha, and he called me crazy." She flopped back on the bed with a sigh. "Well I guess we're still technically kidnapped, but at least it for something cool. I wonder what super powers they'll give us?"

Thomas nodded at Alice's comment. "I expect a lot of people would be interested to hear this news. Too bad they're never going to find out. I expect the NDA's to show up soon." He stayed in his position, mirroring Alice. "As for powers, at the least I expect faster reflexes, maybe super strength, maybe flight if we're lucky, or invisibility. I'd be partial to Pyrokinesis myself. Being able to control fire with your mind would be cool."

"Invisibilty would work for me! Then I could sneak into anywhere and eavesdrop without being seen." She grinned as she imagined the endless possibilities of a power like that. "But that's gotta be impossible. How would they even do something like that or pyro-whatsit?" She rolled onto her side to look over at him, "But whatever, I hope they do it soon, or at least let us have some books or something or we're going to get bored really fast."

Down in the lab the tests were running and the doctors where pouring over what results they had and also a psychological analysis of Thomas and Alice. At least they didn't have any underlying psychological problems, but that didn't always mean that they would work. "What do you think?" the woman asked them. They consulted a moment before nodding, "From what we have so far they'll work very well. But," the head doctor scolded her a little, "you'll need to go and explain the situation better to them about their families." She nodded, "Very well, I will."

Thomas shrugged. "I don't know. Probably through that gene therapy. I'm not a geneticist, so I can't really answer. Course, with invisibility, you'd have to make sure to get clothes that could become invisible too, or else it'd become less awesome." He sighed, working to make time pass more quickly."Yeah, I hope that we get started soon as well."
