A dark warrior with the weight of the world and a massive greatsword on his shoulders is hunting a deadly quarry, an ancient and cunning evil that has left a trail littered with bodies in its wake. He has seen many miles fall beneath his horse's hooves, and many more are to come. Yet he does not pause, does not falter in his trek across the Seven Kingdoms. Hatred burns strong within him, a fire that does not rest as he travels through rain and fog, across rivers and along lakes.
He isn't a very good man, and knows it. His own past has many bodies in it, crimes and atrocities he does not speak of. He sleeps where the road finds him, under hedgerows, in barns, or at wayside inns. When he enters, he brings no laughter or song to the common room but sits quietly, watching for something he does not seem able to find. Few trifle with him, for the greatsword is always close to hand, and the fires in his eyes promise no mercy. Despite his thirst for vengence, his drive to find his quarry, another emotion tugs strongly within him.
For all his drive, Carzo Blaine is lonely.
In inns and on the road, in the cities and holdfasts, he never ceases his vigilance. The thing he hunts does not know of him, Carzo does not fear an ambush, but he nonetheless meets every gaze, his eyes searching for a kindred spirit. Another outcast, another thing of darkness and violence, whom people fear and hate instinctively, someone who understands his desperate need for company in his tireless search. Yet thus far he has been disappointed, finding none who have the same fire that burns withing his own heart.
Till the day he entered the inn, on a foul night, and saw the dark elf woman...
So, it's a simple quest fantasy, travelling along the road, righting wrongs as we encounter them, vignette style. I play Carzo Blaine, you play the mysterious Dark Elf woman. I'm looking for someone at least 18 years old who can write well, not just properly but also in a manner I find pleasure in reading. Unlike most 1x1 RPs that advertise themselves as mature, I'm not looking for endless boinking. On the contrary, what I seek is non-confrontational sexual tension, and lots of it. That's drama, and that's fun to RP. I'm sure that eventually they will make wild and passionate love that tears the building apart, but that's not what I want to base their relationship on.
My rules are simple. If you can't post, or simply lose interest, tell me. I'm not going to be mad if you do me that much courtesy. Also, please write well. I'm looking for someone who can write posts I find genuine pleasure in reading, not just a track to my next post. So while proper grammar and spelling is important, so is your overall characterization and style. If I'm not enjoying myself, I will tell you so. I really want someone who can match or outwrite me.
And finally, have fun and contribute. While I can come up with all the plots myself, I'd rather plan them out with you. There's nothing so fun as gleefully bringing Murphy's Law down on the head of my poor character, especially when I have someone else's input who's enjoying herself as much as I am.
