In past experience, there are generally some people that don't look at the intrest checks that might be interested. And besides, do we really want a large group for this rp? Personally, I would think a smaller group would allow for more group interaction and less of a chance someone could be left out. But it is your rp, you can do what you would like with it, just giving some adivce.
