HOLY SHIT THEY'RE FIRING LANCES AT ME!

So, that's the working title right now for my Dark Souls LP.

I've looked at the equipment I'll need. Black Magic Pro recorder for 360 shit is $200, not sure if that'll include a tax or not, so that's at least two months away, probably. Haven't decided if I'mma use the money I've got now for it and try to not spend much the next few paychecks, or if I wanna save up.

So, that leaves a mic. I don't need anything with amazing fucking quality, but the mic I have now has a shitty background hiss. Hank, how much did the mic you use cost, and what brand is it? I'd like to keep this shit preferably cheap. No more than maybe $50 at the most for the mic, I know there are decent mics for $50 or less.

Quit while you're behind, new kid.

You could get a similar capture device for about 100-200$, I'm pretty sure. No need to go all the way up to 200$ immediately.

    Avatar and signature by me.

When you start the series, and if I enjoy it...I'll spam that shit with my friends, they're into that stuff.

There are programs that exist which allow you to pick a segment of background noise from your audio capture and apply some sort of noise cancellation filter to the rest of the audio sample. The legit fellas do this for their vids.

Also, the best way to trick people into thinking that your YouTube video is of quality is to put ribbons on it and brush its hair. Meaning you should grab a little free music for the opening/ending and make up yourself an emblem.

I would say "You're welcome," but I wasn't asked to be here. Toodle-oo.

Openings and endings are an obvious one.

But the first part...you're assuming I'm a guy who actually knows computer stuff.

My microphone was £20 and I've yet to hear any complaints about background hiss.

That's not my microphone. That's me.

Gorilla strangling a snake just sounds like a euphemism for masturbation, which is absolutely true.

i use a Turtle beach x12 and it's pretty good for lets' plays, especially if you get the USB noise-cancelling edition (it's £30 here but i don't know how that translates into your completely doomed dollar)

also Ace RpG has a massive community of art people that i'm sure would be happy to photoshoop your logo
Was dead. Now not so sure.
