Dark Carnival ~OOC~

For centuries, a traveling circus has moves across the world, visiting cities and towns as it passes through. It arrives during the night, and seems to appear suddenly in the morning, with little to no warning. A few days later, after everyone's asleep, it leaves without a trace, as if it was never there. This carnival is a place of wonder and joy, with many classic attractions. Theres the actobat show, the clowns, the elephants and tigers and bears. Theres the house of mirrors, theres booths to try your luck and win prizes, theres fortune tellers and snacks. In the light, it seems like the funnest place you can be. But when night falls, and all the customers are gone, it becomes a darker, more evil place. Skeletons clean up after the day, the clowns pull deadly pranks on the ghosts, and the manager may even get a new recruit. This Circus has a dark past, and an even darker secret. Some may find this secret out, and some may become curious. It is said that the manager has a power to grant you your deepest wish, but at a cost. He will choose the cost when you request him for something. If you decide that you don't want to go through with it, that the price is too great, you will be found the next day, wandering and confused about what you were doing out of bed.

We will be playing as the carnival workers, cursed in some way and under the orders of Jack, the manager. Theres not really a plot, other than the nightly carnival life, complete with romances, mysteries, rivals, and of course, the actual shows during the day.*

Age: 21. Has been for several hundred years

Role: manager
What was your wish?: to become the manager of the carnival to keep Rose safe
What was your price?: kill his father
Short bio: Jack and Rose grew up with their single father in the late 1800's. their father would beat Rose, Jack's older sister, cussing at the both of them. When Rose suddenly disappeared when the carnival was in town, Jack left his father to find her, chasing the circus for 5 years. When he finally found them, he outsmarted the former manager into his position, leading the man to believe that his father was the most important man in his life.
Other: Jack hates ghost nuts. More than once, he's found a group trying to exorcize the carnival. Its dangerous to the workers, and especially dangerous to Rose.

Name: Rose Tracks
Age: 18
Appearance: stupid pictures not working... =.= Rose has short hair and a fairly small build, reaching 5"3. at night, she's colourless but is still seen completly. during the day, she's transparent, but can become less or more visible if she chooses, its just harder for her. on full moons, she gains slight colour and can change her clothing if she chooses to.
What was your wish?: to stay with the carnival in order to get away from her father.
What was your price?: Rose had to drink a potion that sent her into seven days of agony, and then rise again as a ghost.
Short bio: Beaten by her father and isolated from the outside world, Rose snuck out one night to find the carnival. She heard about the wish and instantly accepted, not even hearing the cost. Now, with her former younger brother as the manager, she wanders the tents of the carnival, playing tricks on customers and workers alike.
Other: Rose has all the powers of any other ghost, but they are stronger at night. She can lift things with her mind, become invisible to most eyes, and go through solid objects, including just under the ground.

What was your wish?: For his crimes to be forgotten, and the ability to bring life to the pretend.

What was your price?: Although his crimes were forgotten, everything else was, too. Anyone who knew Mambo before he joined the circus has forgotten him, from enemies, to friends, to his family.

Short bio: Mambo was always a quiet boy, he never cried. Hardly ever spoke. And when he did, it was to random objects. From chairs to walls, to entire buildings. He was picked on in school for talking to his desk, who he deemed to be named Damion. After years of being pushed around and picked on, Mambo fell into complete silence, learning to speak only using hand motions. He was still considered weird, but he conversed with people a lot more this way. After meeting one of his school bullies during his current teen years, all the pent up rage in the little mute exploded, and he brutally murdered his former bully. He was being chased by the police up until he met Jack, who granted his wish and made his crimes forgotten, but also made Mambo himself completely forgotten.

Other: Mambo has lost his voice over time due to never speaking, not able whimper, not able to scream, anything. He is completely silent and relies on his skills to get his point through to others. He also has the power to make any object he is pretending to use real, although these objects are still invisible, they can be used all the same.

Role: Watchman (Patrols around the whole carnival, taking those who deem problems into the unknown)
What was your wish?: To live forever.
What was your price?: To abandon all contact with his family, loved ones and to erase kindness from his heart.
Short Bio: One could refer to Mortimer as the reaper. Well, sort off. He owned a graveyard in the outskirts of an old and unnamed city. He was always very misterious but had a loving family and even a lover. However, his heart had been broken when his daughter had been murdered. As he saw the carnival, he didn't doubt a single second and abandoned his life, taking only his crow with him. Once his job had been given and his wish granted, he wandered around the Carnival. He was on a mission to keep it away from evil-doers.
Other: He is very mysterious, shy, and very introverted. He just appears out of nowhere in front or behind you and takes you away without warning. His powers, appart from eternal life, are the abilities to manipulate shadows.
