The light of morning pierced the top of the army tent, which sat on top of a building's roof. Two lovers, both also military officers, lay together; slowly waking up due to the sunlight.

"Mmmnnh..." Mia mumbled as she rolled over. "Renji-kun, you're snoring again..." She sighed, sitting up, and poking his cheek with her finger. "Wake up...we have work to do."

Rennji slowly awoke, sitting up. He reached over, and put his hat on.

"We've got work to do." Mia sighed. "We need to make up for lost time. We're 2 days behind schedule and we need to get to the centre of Neo Tokai."
She climbed out of the sleeping bag and grabbed her combat suit from the other side of the tent.

Ranji stood, grabbing his combat uniform, and starting to put it on.
