Citizens of Alencia, welcome to the OOC. A place where we can discuss plot ideas without maiming each other. Here all three parts of the country shall come together to chat, plan or suggest ideas. Those who cause drama shall be publicly hanged. I hope you all enjoy your stay. If you have any questions or concerns you may ask any of these three people. Ty, Sober or Fox.
Here is the IC.
~ Lies of the Thrones ~
"Welcome to the country know as Alencia." Came a soothing voice. It belonged to a tall man in a dark trench coat. His eyes resembled sapphires and he had a kindhearted smile on his face, for some reason this calmed you down. "I see you are new to this broken country of vanity and secrets. We were united once, but clashing opinions and pride tore us apart." You saw a glint of sadness in his eyes and he stared emptily at a crystal blue lake. Fairies fluttered about near the water creating a light glow. It gave the lake an ethereal beauty, though the site of such wonder sent a chill down your spine. "You know," he whispered in a voice void of happiness or hope. "A country at war with itself will eventually fall to ruin." The man sighed and he was so different in comparison to the man he was just moments earlier. "All those leaders who sit on their thrones, they're full of themselves...they need to realize that they need each other. If they continue to fight among themselves then I assure you, the future will be bleak."
The man began to muss up his already tangled hair, brown strands swishing this way and that. "A country needs balance. Too much of one thing is always bad." You couldn't help but wonder why he was telling you so much. You had come to the crystal lake to watch the stars and bask in nature's beauty in fact you had fallen asleep. When you woke up the man smiled at you, introduced himself as a traveler then began with his little speech. It was odd, but you couldn't help but agree with the words that the strange man had uttered.
"Who are you?" You found yourself asking as you stared at him, with unblinking eyes and an uneasy expression.
He chuckled at your question and turned around to meet your gaze. The man brought his pointer finger to his lips as a thin smile spread across his face. "My friend, that will have to be kept a secret." After that he began to fold at the corners like nothing but an illusion - another lie in a sea of deception. "Once again, welcome to this deceitful country." There was a slight pause. "I hope you enjoy it here and I've got a little piece of advice for you." The man winked playfully. "Try not to get yourself killed, kiddo." He whispered before a cool breeze came, you saw the man smile before vanishing into a wisp of smoke that was blown away by the mischievous breeze.
You almost forgot that the crystal lake was where the dead wandered. You froze in place as the man's voice echoed back and forth with the wind.
