Harly had woken much earlier then the others, he'd gotten Zac without waking Joe and they had set off using the shadows, he hated leaving Leiko like this...actually he'd rather hug her all day, kiss her and admire her beauty...but that was going to have to wait, luckily him and Zac were faster then the moon rising, he wasn't stupid if she was wanting to run she would go to the fathest abandoned building and set off a few minutes early as well but then again the sun was only just setting and him and Zac were lightning fast, they reach the building.
"The heart" he said to Zac and they ran for the heart of the building and there she was, curled up on the floor, Harly sighed in reliefe and walked over to where she was.
Zac came over then and pulled out some rope.
"She won't want to come back" he said, Harly smacked him over the head.
Harly went to touch Farren's shoulder and relised....Zac was right, he sighed and took the rope, she wasn't strong enought to snap thick rope, she'd need to feed first.
"JUst this once alright" he said to Zac relising this was so beyond hs normal self.
"Farren" he said gently and shook her gently, she moaned and slowly woke.
Farren opened her eyes and looked around, she then sore Harly, she gasped and sat up, she went to stand and almost fell on her face but Zac caught her.
"Wh....no! I was suppose to get out of here before you came!" she cried, Zac sat her back on her butt.
"We're ancient and can stand sun light...you don't wake until the sun's rays are completly gone, unlike Zac and I who can wake when we want" he smiled.
"Farren....your mother is a wreck, Leiko's a mess and you're really pushing your luck with me" he sighed.
"Look...what he's trying to say is that....no matter what your father may choose to think....we're your other family...Harly is your brother, Leiko is your sister, Joe is....well a friend I suppose, I'm the joker to make you smile and Marcus is the kill joy who always puts us in our place when we step out of line....and we'll never abandon you....Anna looked so lost this morning....I think she's ready to take your father's head off his shoulders....Farren....your mother wants you home and so do we" Zac said gently.
Farren listened and blood tears came running down her face.
"My own father....you have no idea" she said not looking at the two of them.
Zac sighed.
"Actually....I do.....see I use to have a girl i was really close too...we were in love even once I told her I was a vampire, she never ran, she accepted it, she even wanted me to bite her when we really got the heat turned up" Zac smiled.
"But....I had to meet her parents....they were charming....for some time.....then.....the teeth came out and well....." he sighed and opened his shirt revealing a large scar across his chest.
"Wooden blessed stake....well after that they left the country and I never sore her again, last i heard.......she'd gotten married to yet another human and had a child...." he sighed.
"You....just let them take her like that? Without a fight?" Farren asked and looked at him.
"I didn't have a choice....they moved to a town in Europe that were full of vampire hunters.....I forced myself to forget her...but the scar reminds me humans are very unpredictable" he sighed.
"Is Leiko that worried?" Farren asked, and watched both men nodd, she sighed.
"I'll go home" she mumbled, but instead of untying her Harly threw her over his shoulder and ran home with her like that.
"You bastered" she yelled.
