Hopes that clears that up ^_^
"One night, in the year 1713, I dreamed I had made a pact with the devil for my soul. Everything went as I wished: my new servant anticipated my every desire. Among other things, I gave him my violin to see if he could play. How great was my astonishment on hearing a sonata so wonderful and so beautiful, played with such great art and intelligence, as I had never even conceived in my boldest flights of fantasy. I felt enraptured, transported, enchanted: my breath failed me, and - I awoke. I immediately grasped my violin in order to retain, in part at least, the impression of my dream. In vain! The music which I at this time composed is indeed the best that I ever wrote, and I still call it the "Devil's Trill", but the difference between it and that which so moved me is so great that I would have destroyed my instrument and have said farewell to music forever if it had been possible for me to live without the enjoyment it affords me." - Giuseppe Tartini (1692–1770), Baroque composer
Nickname/Alias: The First Dreamer, the Muse
Age: Appears to be mid-twenties. Lily has existed in her current form for a very long time, and the essence of the Muse has existed for as long as humanity has been inspired to create.
Occupation: Formally, principal for Qairn Investments, LLC, a very wealthy private firm. Unofficially...
A great many intelligent, creative, talented people go through life never using their abilities. We all have dreams - of producing something great, seizing some great power or being loved and respected and known for who we are. Lily's job is to bring those dreams into reality. To this end, she's positioned herself as a kingmaker, an impresario of sorts who can raise even the most modest of talents to nationwide or even worldwide recognition. Her services don't come free, of course, but their price tends to be in terms of loyalty, rather than in terms of personal loss. Lily thinks of herself as a muse, an enabler, bringing out the best in people, and uses this to justify the cost she inevitably extracts from the people she helps.
(I've also used this section to expand on her appearance a bit)
To enable her activities, Lily has a number of unusual powers: She can project herself, appearing somewhere far away from wherever she is physically. She can create illusions of perception, bringing the a dreamlike fantasy world into reality to help paint whatever picture she is trying to show someone. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, she can project herself into the dreams of humans (one at a time) while they sleep, taking control of their dreams. In the dreamworld, she's practically omnipotent, and takes a variety of forms, but favors a classical "devil," or some other masculine figure - both because she enjoys the irony and to disguise herself.
Lily's physical form has a slightly tenuous grasp on the laws of physics. She can move much faster than she has any right to, and has quite a lot more strength and stamina than she ought to have. Her reflection is always slightly distorted, as if she's not completely there. She's averse to holy places, though what constitutes a "holy" place depends more on whether people think it's holy, and less on whether it actually is. Lily's signature, of sorts, is a black rose - she wears them on her clothing, in her hair, or on jewelry. Any plants she sticks around long enough will eventually grow the roses, regardless of whatever they normally produce. Dogs can't stand her, but contrary to popular belief about demons, cats actually don't mind her and she's been known to keep one or two as pets.
Because she is less capable in a fight than most demons, Lily spends nearly all of her time surrounded by bodyguards who are more combat-capable than she is. Though she won't perish of natural causes, she's not invulnerable, and can certainly be injured or killed; while you may not be able to hurt her as easily as you would a human similar to her, she bleeds like all the rest of us with sufficient provocation.
Lily stands about 5' 3'' and looks very human; no outward signs betray her demonic nature. Sometimes, when agitated, her irises take on catlike proportions and she hisses noticeably, but she can usually control the reflex if she focuses (people who know what she is find this more adorable than threatening). She's absolutely obsessed with fashion and appearance, and dresses very stylishly. While she's not classically beautiful, she's definitely attractive in a cute, coy sort of way. Plus, she's got (as she'd put it) an awful lot of animal magnetism. People just want to be around her, to look at her, and of course, to do as she asks. Her voice is a light and airy soprano, and her emotions are betrayed readily by her tone and inflection.
In the beginning, quite a long time ago, Lily was a lowly succubus, a demon who subsisted on the perversions and desires of others. Her time in this form is not documented and she rarely speaks of it, partially because she considers it inconsequential and partially because she finds it somewhat embarrassing to admit to having come from such common stock.
It was some time before the being known as Lily now came into existence, but she's always worked to carve a niche for herself - fulfilling desires not of lust or instinct but of mind and soul. Her current form probably came into being in the mid-1600s, and has managed to survive ever since. Thanks to her longevity, Lily has amassed significant personal wealth and a strong safety net, which she uses to ply her unique trade.
Lily shows people what they want to see. She can be excitable and capricious, or quiet and genuine, or anything in between - whatever fits the situation. Everything she does, from the clothes she wears to the way she speaks to the people she associates with are designed to enable her goals, whatever they may be (for now, it would seem, they involve accumulating wealth and power in the human world). There are some consistencies among her many personas: She's exceptionally intelligent and artistically gifted, particularly in music. She's also something of a polyglot, and speaks numerous languages (including some very ancient ones) fluently.
Few people have seen what Lily's really like, when she isn't wearing a personality that suits the moment. She rarely reveals her real feelings or beliefs to anyone, even the few she trusts deeply. Her real desires are difficult to describe, and her real personality perhaps doubly so, but one way to explain it is this: There's a kind of existential sadness that comes from having gifts nobody can see. Though Lily uses her talents to inspire others, she herself receives no praise or recognition. The music she composes in the dreams of lesser artists will never truly be heard, not as long as there are wars to fight and power struggles to be had. Perhaps the truth is that in the end, Lily wants to create for herself, instead of for others.
Not that anyone ever asks, or that she'd tell you if you did.
Lily's personal aims are somewhat ineffable, and whatever game she's playing, it's a very long and complex one. She'll work with anyone and do anything she thinks will further her goals, and outside of her most beloved and trusted friends, has no qualms about betraying or harming others to get what she wants. She'll work with anyone - human, angel or demon - if they'll help her, but understands that angels are ultimately her natural enemy, and treats all of them with even more than the usual suspicion.
Why did you come to Purgatory Heights?: That's of no consequence to you. (the GM knows a bit more about this, but it's not for public consumption just yet )
Miscellaneous: However, Lily also has many enemies, and prefers never to travel alone or meet with guests unattended. She's been the target of several assassination attempts, all of which have failed - two by poison (ineffective on demons), two by shooting (she shot first), and three attempts to create an "accident" (caught by her, personally, or her bodyguards). To protect herself, she carries a small Beretta handgun which some say is imbued with demonic power, a rumor she neither confirms nor denies.

So there's Lily's bio - she'd work well with the other powerful demons, like Aiden, and I think it would be interesting to see how she interacts with Ashley.
It's cool now. I recovered the info. I'll post my sheet soon
Oh right, forgot to approve the characters. ahem

Also Donovan's image for his sheet is broken. I'll get to putting my characters up.
I can see Donovan's, but that's probably because I found the link by quoting it and putting it into another tab. o_o
I get aggravated when a picture's link doesn't work, so I try and find remedies myself. *Cough* I feel creepy.
As for my character, I'm reworking some things for his face and stuff. Not literally his face, just... reworking a bit about his personality, etc.. I've been getting... very distracted as of late. ._.
Disclaimer: I didn't make the set you see before you, but to lighten her workload, I'll leave that for you lot to find out.
Joseph "Joey" Hansen
"My crystal ball says for you to shut the hell up."
Joey, JoeBear, Weirdo, Freak
Fortune Teller, College Student
Mediumship - Joey can see, communicate, and summon the spirits of the dead. User can view ghosts/spirits of deceased and communicate with them, even if they have possessed inanimate objects/subjects/people. They are able to repel and run spirits away from an area, compel to employ an armada of ghosts, and may even view a visual conception of a spirit world in a trance if desired. They are also able to be possessed by ghosts/spirits or angels/demons. More powerful mediums are able to actually communicate with these spirits; the most powerful mediums can accept spirits into their bodies and share experiences and, in the case of particularly potent spirits, supernatural powers. Mediumship comes with a price, however: an untrained or undefended medium can be possessed by spirits against their will. For this reason, most mediums also learn Occultism, to be better able to defend themselves against spirits who wish to return to the mortal realm.
- Astral Projection - This stems from Joey's mediumship. The power to separate one's spirit from one's body and roam the astral plane. While the physical presence (body) assumes a deep trance, users assume an Astral/Spirit Form, separating from the physical body and gaining access of travel on Astral Plane. While in astral form, the user takes on the traits of ghosts such as levitation, phasing, and being invisible to others. Only people with mental abilities can see/hear someone in their astral body. Experienced users are able to possess others, infiltrate their dreams, or psychically persuade them.
Precognition - Power to perceive future events before they happen. Users have the ability to foresee possible futures and observe what may happen. As knowledge of the future invariably causes that future to change, visions of the future are subject to frequent shifting. While not being able to select futures or travel through time, these visions may assist in possible courses of action. Some visions may be set in stone whether or not you see them, others may happen only if the players select a certain course of action. This depends mainly on whether or not users are viewing Destiny or Probability. In Joey's case, they appear in dreams and through the aid of external aids such as tarot cards, palm reading, tea leafs, etc. Most of his visions are very vague which leaves them open for interpretation. However, over time they do become much clearer. The use of divination amplifies his ability. With this, Joey also has an enhanced danger sense and intuition.
- Psychometry - This stems from Joey's precognition. The ability to gain residual information off of an object or person in the form of vibes, visions, or other sense. The user obtains historical memories or sensations concerning beings objects they touch. With objects they gain the knowledge including the makers, users, and even those who have on passing used the object, and what has been done with it. With living beings or parts of the body the user learns their general life-history, but doesn't gain anything of what they were thinking or feeling.
Psychic Attack - (Psionic Blast, Mind Blast, Pain Infliction) The ability to overload another's mind and cause excruciating pain on another person or supernatural person. The user can project harmful psionic volleys that cause intense migraines enough to bring someone to their knees, which may result in brain damage, memory loss, unconsciousness, vegetative state or even death depending on the strength of the attack. Higher level angels and demons have a natural immunity to this ability. The victim is not physically harmed. The pain is described as someone's brain being lit on fire with a ringing in their ears.
Occultism - Joey has vast knowledge of anything supernatural and magical such as angels, demons, ghosts, witchcraft, magic, astrology, superstitions, and so forth. He's like a walking encyclopedia for the supernatural.
Demonology - On top of knowing everything there is to know about demons and what they can do, he can also exorcise them. He also knows several symbols to ward them off.
✔ Helping People
Overall, Joey is a very outgoing, bubbly, and positive person to be around. Unlike a lot of those psychics who love to be vague and cryptic with you, he is blunt and will tell you how it is. He doesn't talk all mysterious or anything, but rather talks about normal things when he isn't on a case or working (fortune telling). He is the definition of "don't judge a book by it's cover." At first glance, he doesn't look like a psychic, but rather a normal college student. Most of the time hunters get the impression he's just some naive kid that shouldn't be getting himself into things like this. But they soon learn he's the real deal and can hang with the big boys. His key traits are that he's very sarcastic and witty. That's his overall sense of humor and anyone that takes things too seriously is someone Joey doesn't normally hang around. Of course, he knows there's a time and place for everything. When it calls to be serious, he is. He can get along with just about anyone. He's all about respect. He understands not everyone will agree or believe in the same thing, but he figures if he's nice and civil with you, he should get the same in return.
As far as him being a psychic, he's been able to interact with the other side since he was only 4 years old. At first he thought it was the boogeyman coming to get him, but his mother knew what was happening. From a young age, he was taught that his abilities were a blessing meant to help others. She told him to embrace his gifts and not suppress them. Many times he would cry because the "dead people" wouldn't leave him alone. Soon he learned to tune them out and banish them away. During grade school, it wasn't a secret that he was a psychic medium. He was know as "that freak who can see dead people." He was constantly tormented and harassed by his peers, so much that his mom had to take him out of school to home school him. This caused him to be a very shy and timid kid. If that wasn't bad enough, other latent abilities started to manifest such as seeing things before they happened. Joey learned to get over the remarks of other people and started embracing his true nature. His personality started to change into what he is today. Because of his lineage of psychics, his mom being one, her mother, and mother's mother, he's became quite the powerful medium, becoming more in tune with the other side than his mother. This attracted the interests of several hunters/slayers and other humans from all over the country for his services. One would think this would boost his ego, but he's actually a very humble person. He's very professional, but he's still 22. He still has a young person's mind.
Why did you come to Purgatory Heights?:
Because of all of the calls and business he gets from Slayers, humans, and Interfectors in Purgatory Heights, he figured he might as well relocate there. He's know as the "best damn psychic in the state."
Joey owns a psychic shop that doubles as his home.
You gave him my first name.
Well the guy I'm using as a face claim is named Joey too. Didn't feel like finding a new name so I just used his first name.
"God's a kid with an ant farm, lady. He's not planning anything."
Nickname/Alias: Killer (only used to mock him)
Type of Angel/Demon:Cambion
Abilities/Skills: Jeff increased reflexes, making him literally able to dodge bullets. Whether he sees an attack coming or not his body will react to it appropriately.
Jeff has a insanely high pain tolerance. He can mentally withstand getting hit by a semi then standing. His body still takes the damage, so he breaks just like everyone else. But minor injuries/wounds aren't registered as pain to him.
✔ Telling jokes
✔ His job
✔ Being in control
✘ Being attacked
✘ Being used to increase an Archedemons power
✘ Showing his actual emotion
✘ Not having control
✘ Pop music
Personality:He never sees anything as fun unless he's drunk. Jeff just sees the angles, where to go if need be, what to use in a fight. From a very young age Jeff has been on high alert, his father being an incubi was a gambling addict. But his father didn't prefer the term gambling his father counted cards, there was no real gambling happening. His father was skilled in the arts of blackjack but when he was caught he returned bloodied and defeated. His father's abilities were to be faster compared to any human in all ways,(thinking, reaction, moving.) As well as tougher in all ways, (stronger skin, stronger bones). After living in vegas for 16 years of Jeff's life his father moved to Purgatory so he could be free of lucifer's wrath. And escape the men he owed money to's wrath. Jeff became a Interfector slayer and detective as soon as he was of age.
After 8 years of being a slayer Jeff had an event happen to him that he will never forget. He was on the trail of a archedemon, it was a dangerous job but his career-long partner Josh and him have dealt with them before. They tracked down the archedemon who had the ability to create illusions to "The Purge" hotel. They were finishing for the night making the move on the demon tommorow, and as they went up to their rooms the demon was watching them. Jeff was about to lay down when out of the corner of his eye he saw the demon walk in through the door of his room. Jeff immediately acted grabbing his staff. The demon hit Jeff into a nearby glass wall that overlooked the city from the 25 story of the building. The glass cracked slightly and as Jeff blinked the demon disappeared then cast the illusion on Jeff's now alerted partner showing him as the demon in Jeff's eyes. Jeff overpowered his human exorcist partner easily and pushed him into the glass wall/window. Not knowing where his partner was he used his staff to knock his partner out the window to his death. The demon removed the illusion from Josh as he broke through the window, causing Jeff to feel mass guilt and shame. This demon was much more sinister than any encountered by Jeff before. The demon knew Jeff was a cambion and whilst Jeff was in shock from killing his partner and best friend, the demon began to feast on Jeff.Jeff was limp slowly being drained of his life force as just replaying Josh falling to his death in his head. Luckily a Seraphim was checked in the other room and heard the whole thing unfold. The last thing Jeff remembers is seeing a angel run through his room and push the demon out the window. Jeff woke a few hours later weak and dazed, but he did know he needed to get out of the hotel and leave his past behind.
For 2 years now Jeff has been doing vigilante work, unofficially taking down power hungry demons and angels. He has never stuck with the same free-lance exorcist more than 10 times so he doesn't get too emotionally attached. He has grown hard and is still attempting to stay under the Interfector radar, due to he is known as a murder he is always covering his tracks. Jeff is obsessed with finding the Archedemon tormentor and the Archeangel savior from that night.
Why did you come to Purgatory Heights?:His father moved the family due to the amount of money he owed to the cities loan sharks. He is still in Purgatory heights so he can look for Josh's killer
Miscellaneous:Extendable/Retractable staff-Has the ability to hit with 25x the force put into it. (Actual weight does not change just the force output.Force output varies with how fast and hard staff is swung. Does not affect user of staff.) Extended Retracted
(let me know of any problems please)
