Jennifer Jareau strolled through the halls of the BAU, shuffling files in her hands. She had not gotten and new cases that were extreme enough that promted their attention right this minute. She waved hello to Morgan, and Reid in the bullpen, and walked up the stairs into her office. she sat down at her desk, and placed the files in her hands onto the short stack of requests. She picked up a new file, and was reading through it when a knock on her door. She looked up, and an agent stood in the door. She was handed a new file, and she thanked the agent. She leafed through the file, growing more and more concerned. She had a bad one. Six murders in three weeks. This was an important one that the team needed to look at right away. Another knock on her door made her look up. Her boss, Aaron Hotchner stood there.
"Do you have something for us?"
"Yeah, and it's a bad one. Take a look," She handed the file to him and he looked it over. He nodded and handed it back to her.
"Get the team into the conference room in five minutes," With that, he left, and went to let the New York police department know that they would be coming in. JJ stood up from her chair, and walked out of her office towards the bullpen. She waved to the two boys, Morgan and Reid, who both nodded, and stood up. Morgan said a joke to Reid, nudging him slightly as they walked into the conference room. They sat down, Garcia strangely already there, with Hotch coming in a few seconds later. JJ was only a few steps behind him.
"We have six victims in a span of three weeks. There are three men and three women. The unsub switches between men and women every kill. There appears to be no specific relation to the victims. The ages of the victims ranges between eighteen, and forty two," JJ explained, putting the pictures of the six victims up onto the screen.
"How do we know it's the same guy?" Morgan asked, clasping his hands together.
"Because they all have killer burned into their skin somewhere. The police tried to dig up any dirt on the victims, but their appears to be none," JJ shrugs, confused as to why the unsub would burn this onto his victims if they were not killers.
"Okay, wheels up in thirty,"
