Our storyline runs congruent to the events in Portal 2. At the start of the game, Chell's containment room toppled over countless others before her run in with the 'docking station'. Miraculously, or perhaps by some cruel twist of fate, six survivors dragged themselves from the wreckage. They were met with a strange new facility, much different than the one they had been welcomed to. Plants reclaimed their lost terrain, floor plates were cracked, wall panels had fallen off their hinges. The Enrichment Center was out of commission. Now, disoriented, scared, and utterly alone, our test subjects must find a way to escape, a way to freedom, because they are still alive...
╔ The Basics ╗Please type with proper grammar, spelling and language use. No slang, no txt spk. Please be active. Post at least once a day. Do not join and leave. I don't appreciate hit and runs. Please respect everyone involved, including myself. Ignoring, unless supported with in character bias, is not allowed. No flaming, no trolling, no whining and no stealing.
╔ Characters ╗Our test subject team will, at first, be made up of six characters; 3 men and 3 women. Multiple characters are allowed as long as you can post for each of them and still maintain a decent level of activity. In this case, please post one character per reply. I've posted the introductory post in the IC thread. It offers various ways to jump right on in. If you prefer a different method of getting started, let me know, I'll edit my post to reflect that.
╔ Forms ╗Don't alter the character application. They're fairly simple and I want to keep it that way. Photos will be of real people. No anime or artwork allowed. Send all applications to the OOC thread in a response. I'll let you know when I've added you to the test subject list. I operate on a first come first serve basis. There are no reservations, no favorites.
╔ Posts ╗Post length should be two paragraphs minimum. Try to interact with, or at least respond to, all other characters. Tea time for two is looked down upon. Don't be afraid to interject sudden plot changes, whip up new NPC's, narrate a GLaDOS moment. I'm very lenient with the story telling and love it when players contribute. Makes everything seem more real.
╔ Other ╗I reserve the right to add, detract, alter and otherwise change the rules at any time. If you break a rule, you forfeit your right to play in my game. Oh, and please try to have some fun. A bunch of video game nerds living vicariously through their characters is bound to be a good time. Let's make it happen.

I know the plot and character form is brief, but don't take that as a sign of incompleteness or naiveté. I have a hands off approach to RP that really sets the stage for a creative, unique, once in a lifetime experience in which everybody can have a hand. Too many times I've joined a game where GM had their set ideas and didn't let anybody deviate from their end goal. That's not going to happen here. You can do whatever you want, as long as you've got the in character basis to support it.
