Iris descended down from a magnificent rainbow, her silken robes flowing about her body. She smiled as the man bowed to her in awe. "I am Iris, come bearing a message, young one." The man looked up at her, his face shimmering in her opalescent glow. "You are to meet the God of the sea. Go to the waters north of your home, and swim until He receives you." Iris rose into the air without waiting for a response. With a slight spin, she crafted another rainbow, using it to travel again. She traveled aimlessly, throwing clouds around randomly out of sheer boredom. In her wanderings, she came across a battle. Not necessarily a great one, but a bloody one indeed. Feeling lost, with no more tasks to accomplish, she formed a cloud and perched on it, watching the warriors below. She knew this battle. The Roman empire was forcing its way into Asia. The king, Acia, was attacking the first Asian town, trying to capture it for his own.
