Lynx R’torr: Female: 24: Human: Chaotic Neutral Alignment
Brief Physical description:
Standing at 5’6, weighing in at 124 lbs., her body is more like a tool than a temple. Her well toned, thick, body was practically made for combat. Lynx’s flesh is that of a farmer, pale if ill, but on day-to-day basis, reddened by the harsh sun she’s accustomed to travelling by. Her skin is also usually caked in a fine layer of dirt, ash, or grime from travelling and battles, until she returns to her property where she’s bathed. The girl’s fingernails are short, as to not scratch her too harshly. The tips of her digits are rough, like the scales of an alligator.
A somewhat wavy mane of hair flows over her shoulders, when it’s not tied back in strips of leather. Her auburn-brown hair is decorated with blue and black beads that had been weaved into her loose braids scattered to the sides of her head. Each bead represents a goal that she’s working to accomplish; when the goal has been completed she removes the bead and buries it at the site of completion, as tribute to Bane, deity of War and Conquest.
Lynx’s eyes are a sweet honey amber color, with pupils black as a starless sky. Her cheeks are round and flush, they contour down to a sharp, angular chin. In comparison to the rest of her face her ears are rather petite, which makes her rather hard of hearing; soft sounds, whispers, and subtle movements are often muted to her. The mark that defines her however, is her spell scar she acquired in the Plaguelands, located on the left forearm. A cyan scar that consistently pumps tainted magic in her bloodstream. Often times, during use of spells gained from the scar, her capillaries seem to turn faintly aqua in color.
While often called an extremist by strangers, her companions would describe her a passionate. She loves what she does. Her heart lay in the center of her hilt, which is lead by the laws of Bane. In her eyes, when all want one, war is the only way. To divide and conquer is her mindset. She often times, leads others in with trickery or promises of peace and negotiations, only to take their life and land.
Lynx has no quarrels with slavery, and owns many slaves of her own. Some for work, others for pleasure. Such is the way of the darker corners of the world. She treats her slaves with a similar attitude as can be compared to romans: do your job and do it well and you shall be rewarded, she does not hate them, but thinks them like family to some extent. It’s even been suggested that her slaves prefer her to their prior masters. Do not mistake this for a lenient hand however, for when disrespect or dishonor is brought to her or her house at the hand of a slave, she is not hesitant to punish and correct their mistakes.
Lynx is not without heart, although some may believe it so. She has a soft spot for animals, particularly owlbears. She sees them as wonderful companions and powerful assets in battle. The bond between man and beast can be one so strong you’d have an easier time slaying an entire battalion of orcs with a dagger. She has an easier time befriending rangers, druids, and spellscared than she does with other warlords and fighters. Those who threaten her position are not easily taken close to the heart for her.
Weapon of Choice: Francisca (Hand/Throwing Axe) paired with a round shield
Equipment: Boot daggers, pocket mirror, francisca, round shield, manacles (with key), and spell scar crystal.
Clothes: Lightweight hardened leather armor, black in color, decorated with engravings of vines and thorns intricately throughout the chest. Under her armor set she wears an olive drab tunic, starved from both color and taste. Her pants were just as stale as her tunic. Her extravagant knee-high boots, embroidered with elaborate and detailed wings on each side of the leather, to give inspiration of flight to step, overshadowed the paleness of the drab pants.
Advantages: Light armor made for quick movement; Axe is good for hand and throwing, intimidating presence among politicians, has reputation, spellscared.
Disadvantages: Light armor is easily penetrated, once axe is thrown it is difficult to retrieve, extreme fear of water and cannot swim, no real influence in politics, seen as a cruel person by strangers, spellscared.
Spellscar Powers: Too many to list, but here are class powers from 4.0 PDF. http://www.korinth.com/dnd/4e_Supple...arred_FRPG.pdf
