Right about now, Lorelei was cursing her luck, both good and bad. It was good luck that such a lucrative job had come their way. It was even better luck, at least for her, that Dante was too busy with another hunt to bother with it. Thus, it gave the fem fatal a chance to do some handy-work on her own, something she'd been itching to do all week. After all, the shop had fallen into a lull.
The bad luck was that it was an Incubus...in an all girls private school. The worse luck was that he put up a large fight.
"Thank you, thank you ever so much!" The headmistress, a highly repressed individual with a pinched nose and and tight-bun hair, said, handing her the cash. "Though...are you alright? I heard quite a ruckus within."
"Meh," The redhead answered. "Just a flesh-wound. I'm used to it."
The woman quirked a brow, but shook her head and went back inside. Lorelei winced as she turned back around, arms covered in visible scratches from the creature, and some noticeable tears made near her chest. That would make for an interesting explanation to her boyfriend later on. Hoping to get home and change first, she turned back around, to feel a hand attempt to reach for her arm. Feeling jump from the nights endeavors, she grabbed the wrist, and went for her sword...but stopped short.
The figure was shorter than her, slender, but full in the hips and chest. She was swathed in black from head to toe, including a dark black cloak that hid her face, all but for half. In her arm, that wasn't held tight, was a small bundle, human-sized, pressed her side.
"You still seem to forget how mortal you are Lori. What have you been doing without me?"
Lorelei's eyes widened. "...Jada?"
(Vaguely long, but I had to set the scene)
