[Suspect]Keep Your Friends Closer Than Your Enemies[Agni]
Hannah walked down the halls of River Falls High like she did any other day. She acted like she ruled the school but knew to herself that that indeed wasn't true. Hannah was wildly popular though with being head cheerleader, organizing events for everyone to participate in and even maintaining a grade A+ average. She had it all. This was day time life though and night time as she knew it was just around the corner and her thoughts went directly towards that. She hoped that her partner was ready for the same thing since tonight was the biggest assignment of them all. She sighed softly to herself but that same pearly white smile never left from the corners of her mouth. She walked into class and waved at everyone before taking a seat.
Her long blonde locks trailed all the way to her mid-back, her lips were stained with pink lip gloss and her skin complexion was evenly tanned. Hannah stands at about five feet and nine inches tall. With her being a cheerleader, she is very flexible, quick and agile though it was all a reason behind that and only one person knew. Her emerald green eyes scanned up at the head jock of the school and she tilted her nose up a little bit as he sat beside her and started talking.
"You know it's right for the head jock..." He pointed towards himself then pointed towards her while continuing. "And the head cheerleader to date right?" She scoffed and shook her head while laying her gel pen down onto her notebook, smiling and turning towards him while cuffing his hands with hers. "You see Simon, you have nothing that I want." She said while letting go of his hands and flipped her blonde locks of hair, smiling. "I got beauty and brains while you are the head jock. We're not compatible. I'm sorry." She said while turning back around it her desk and picking up her gel pen. She continued to write in her notebook as she hoped that she didn't embarrass him too bad. Either way it goes, she really didn't care.
Hannah continued writing then the bell to start school rung. Her eyes looked up at her partner as he entered the classroom then she immediately shifted her eyes somewhere else. She has always been itching to talk to him inside of school but again it would ruin her image. He was a goth while she was gleam in the sky. It wouldn't work out if those two started talking but she often wondered, why doesn't he act the way in school that he does on the outside of school? She shrugged her shoulders with that thought then just couldn't wait until the day time was done and over with.
Blake yawned as he walked through the emptying halls at River Falls High, relishing on the scared faces of the few freshman. With his spiky black hair, dark clothing and various ear and lip piercings, he really couldn't blame them. But being the sadistic person he was, he rather enjoyed the terrified faces of his fellow students. It wasn't just his look too; he had a horrific reputation behind it all. Of course, none of them were true but who was he to correct anyone? Besides, he didn't have time to get into gang fights or steal from little old ladies. He had a much better (and scarier) job when night rolled around. The bell rang right when he walked into his first class where he caught a glance of the only face he enjoyed seeing during the daytime.
Hannah quickly looked away from his hazel eyes once they locked on for a split second, making him smirk. She always acted like this but she had good reason to. People would start talking if the most feared goth in the school talked with the most popular girl in school. Though he didn't act like it 99% of the time, he did care about her (as a friend goddammit) and if she didn't want to ruin her reputation then so be it. He didn't want anyone in school to know he had a soft side too anyways.
He took a seat at the back of the room just as the teacher was about to start. He leaned back on his chair and put his feet on the desk, ready to not take any notes whatsoever. Sadly, the class did not fly by as fast as he'd like and he thanked the universe when the bell finally rang, signalling the time to change periods. He got up and started for the door, briefly wondering if he should just skip for the rest of the day when he bumped shoulders.
"Watch where you're going freak." The head jock snapped at him. Blake glared up at the taller boy. Although he stood at six feet, the jock freak was still a good few inches taller than him. However, he did not back down as his hands balled up into fists. The jock saw the action and sneered.
"Wanna go you dumb goth?" He challenged, puffing out his chest as he took a step closer to Blake. Even though he made an oath never to reveal his skills outside his job, he was surely tempted to break the idiot's neck at that moment.
Apology to My Role-Play Partners (11/10): First off, this is NOT me announcing that I will be leaving the site. This is an apology concerning my lack of replies and the vast amount of time it take me between each post. I should have stated earlier that I go to college and work, so my life is pretty hectic around the fall. It should died down by the third week of December. However, I just wanted to say a big sorry for always leaving you guys hanging and not post until three weeks later. I will fix this as much as I can and will aim to not prolonging my reply past a week's time. Once more, I am sincerely sorry for leaving you guys hanging all the time.
She smiled when the bell rang as she gathered up her things and walked out of the classroom and down the hall. Most of the cheerleaders greeted her with a smile and she returned the same form of greeting. Hannah talked to them while at her locker then her senses were tingling. Her eyes went over to see the head jock bothering Blake and she just thought to herself. 'Please don't do it, Blake.' They both took an oath to not show their skills outside of their job, so she had to improvise. "Hold on, ladies." They nodded as Hannah rushed over and stepped in between the two guys. "You two are not fighting over me, are you?" She laughed softly while turning towards Blake, making sure he was okay. Her sights then set on the jock while sneering towards him. "Look here you little punk, why don't you pick on someone your own size and leave him alone. He did nothing wrong to you, so back off of him! Got it? Good." She hissed then firmly nodded when she was done.
Hannah looked towards Blake and smiled before walking away, going back to the her locker, where the cheerleaders were waiting. "Uhmm, why didn't you defend Hunter?" Hannah sighed while closing her locker and looking towards them. "Sometimes, it's better to bend the rules a little bit." She walked off and went to her next class. She sat down in her desk next to the wall and took out her notebook while huffing. She eyed some of the people coming in and looked at them with disgust as she heard them mumbling about her. "Look, I stood up for what was right. If that gets me talked about around here then please go ahead because it will do nothing but increase my popularity." She said while turning away from the haters. She rubbed her temple with her hands while waiting for the day to end.
Hannah's first day of school was different this year, with her being a Senior and the head cheerleader, or maybe because she took up from one of those goth kids. But Blake was more than that to her. He was her friend and partner. Her stomach tosses and turns every time she is next to him or beside him but she will never tell him that. She shook her head while waiting for the final bell to ring. When it did, she stuff her notebooks into her bookbag and slung it over her shoulder. She pushed through the sea of people and headed out the front of the school.
She walked towards her car while reaching into her purse and grabbing her keys. When her eyes scanned up, she seen Hunter leaned up against her car. Hannah rolled her eyes while sighing as she neared him. "I don't want to hear it. The answer is still no." She said. Hunter smiled while grabbing her by the arm. "Look here, you are going to be with me, whether you like it or not!" He growled. He was really hurting her arm as his grasp got tighter and tighter. If people wasn't coming towards them, she would have laid him out. She winced softly to herself as she eyed everyone that was passing. They did nothing. Maybe they didn't know what was going since he was playing it off really well.
Hannah knew one person would come to her rescue. And that one person was Blake. He just needed to hurry up because she was getting a little light headed.
