Behold! The Story
Deep in the heart of the not-so-distant, distant future lives a cute little planet Earth. None of the other planets ever expected her to get very far; she did choose to house people after all. But Earth, being stubborn since the beginning, chose to ignore the warnings. Still to this day, she plugs away, living on and giving what she can to the people who so desperately needed her.
However, all is not well with her people. New technologies and discoveries have become a part of daily life. The people are quite accustomed to sudden changes in culture, fashion, or their very existence in general. Life has become so fast that anything and everything goes. Keeping up to date is like dancing.
The latest advancement came through a program during a time of war. The idea was to create super humans to help with the fight! It was time for heroes like from comic books to come to life! The government dreamed up its own team of super heroes they intended on creating and generously giving to their people. Why hadn't they tried this years ago? Certainly this kind of bio engineering would be easy at this point in history! Scientists began to take children from orphanages and experiment on them in order to give them super powers. (Don't worry, they only took the older ones with practically no hope for adoption anyway. Besides, all the best Marvel super heroes were orphans! What better back story for the movies that would surely follow these heroes?)
Objective; to create a team of supers to save the world! It would be glorious! They could already see their work changing the entire world! Movies! Comic books! Fame! Fortune!
But something went horribly wrong. Each child received super powers, oh yes... yet not what the scientists had hoped for. Each child in this squadron was either endowed with absolutely pointless powers, or had no ability to control their power. (Or some other dysfunction keeping them from being a competent hero.) When the project failed, it was awkwardly disbanded, and the orphans were given government assistance and encouraged never to speak of it again.
Some of the new super heroes, however, chose not to keep it a secret. With this new power...anything was possible... and thus the super villains were born!!
Will our band of heroes be able to somehow muster up the courage to stop the new villains? What kind of sinister plot could be lurking above their heads? Find out in the next episode of "Who Chose This Hero?"!!
Behold! The Awesome Might of the Players!
This is a role play about failed super heroes! You can be a super hero between the ages of about 12-18 (if you want something a little different I will work with you. Just pm me with your idea) with a pointless super power, a lack of control, a failed personality, or some other fault that makes them useless as a super hero. This is going to be more lighthearted and fun, but I also want it to have somewhat of a plot.
I want this role play to be ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!! The more out there, the better. However, I still want to have a little bit of a plot so we can keep going.
You can also make a villain! It's okay for the villains to have a little better powers than the heroes, but keep it reasonable. We still have to be able to fight you.
A lot of people are showing interest in this already, so I'm going to limit you to one character per person for now.
Behold! The Role Play
I think this role play will be more interesting if our characters do not know who each other's secret identities are. So when the scientists were experimenting on your character, they did it in isolation so they would not see the other super heroes. The scientists are assisting us in carrying out life as normal. So our characters all live in the same city (probably a larger, more industrious city, and go to school and all that good stuff.

Behold! The Fate of The Players!
- Just the basic stuff guys... don't make me post more...
- I want this to be ridiculous, but I also want it to last, so try and be creative. There is a plot and you are welcome to add to it.
- ...but don't be TOO over the top. NO GOD MODDING. I cannot tell you how much I freaking hate that!!
- I don't want one liners please. This is a little more light-hearted, but try and write at least a paragraph
- Have fun and be respectful
