I have found through my years of roleplaying, as erratic as that has been, that I am driven to write in the compelling moods I have (usually depressing or daydreaming at that) coupled with music. Often I will set a song on loop so I can keep writing while the ambient background noise of the beat fuels my mind with ideas and emotions. I can't say how long I've done this but I have for as long as I can remember enjoying the highs and lows (more low admittedly) than anything else I have done. I aspire to be a poet and writer and enjoy listening to music and just sitting, staring out my window at the world with my mind thinking "If only..."
I go on though but my actual question, or two at that, are these;
1) How many of you escape to your imagination and how often?
2) When you write on the roleplays do you listen to music to help your mood?
Also if you wish post a theme you found affected your mood. My current mood swayer is this beautiful theme I found.
