~Cards in hooves, metal wings upon his back... A Pegasus who is carefree despite Equestria's problems, obvious or not~
Name: Gamble Gambit
Personality: Sly and quick to adapt, Gamble is an over-all mares' colt with a childish personality and a perverted outlook on the opposite gender. Although he has a more serious side, you will almost never see it unless he or ponies close to him are in danger, and even then he is known to slack around and treat the problem like an average chore. Which eventually leads to him getting his flank hoofed to him.
Bio: (The only non-canon thing about where he is from is he's from a place I made in Las Pegasus called the Undercloud, which is pretty much like the slums. The way I imagine Las Pegasus is it sits on top of a large cloud, and the Undercloud is inside it. The explanation for his wings is a Griffon lost a rather large sum of money to Gamble and accused him of cheating, brutally attacking him and managing to rip his wings off before getting taken away.)
Kind of a cliche' childhood of a poor, young colt who grew up surviving by stealing from others, but took up his father's gambling habits and soon attained his Cutie Mark, starting to earn up enough bits to move his family (Mother, Father. No siblings, but another somepony who is close to him, who he considers a little sister that still remains in Las Pegasus) to the city above. The reason he left the city after it became under Luna's rule, being a city of the night. And because of events that caused him to lose his original set of wings, which made him decide to spend the bits he had saved up on for metallic ones, he didn't want to face his family after spending all the money on himself, so he left. Deciding to travel and make a living off his talent.
Cutie Mark: An ace and queen of spades, this colt finds himself guided by luck, even away from the card table.
Other: Gamble doesn't fair well with apple cider, and could easily be taken advantage of after more than one glass.
Know Magic: It might not be "Da Magics!"
But it might as well be, how lucky he is at the card table. He is also a natural at getting information, and doing some... Rather shady deeds, giving some past work in the Undercloud, that could be considered useful.
