The year is 2020. Century City has been without heroes for over three years after the Teen Titans were shut down by the authorities after several young members were killed in the line of duty. The leader and founder of the team, Nightstar, went on the road and locked down the T Tower that was once the theme park/museum for Timmy's Toy World. Several of the fallen Titans had statues made in their honor in the surrounding plant gardens but many have been victim to vandalism. Now Nightstar has returned to Century City to pick up the pieces after crime doubled in the heroes' absence. But he's not the only founding Titan to return. One former hero long thought to be dead has returned and wants nothing more than to see the Titans remain a memory. But who is he? As always Nightstar put out an open call to any superhuman individuals around the Century City area.
1.) No back-to-back posting.
2.) PAY ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND SET-UPS!!!
3.) Make sense. If we can't make heads or tails of your posts they're likely to get skipped over.
4.) Get permission before using another player's character in your posts if it involves changing the scene or making actions. Everybody will take beatings in this game in battle however, so don't get pissed if you get punched or blasted into a wall by the bad guys!
5.) Problems with the game or players should be sent directly to me through PM's. I don't want a bunch of bickering in the OOC.
6.) Abandoned characters will be used as NPC's or killed off within the context of the story.
7.) “I was waiting for [insert player/character] to make a move” is not an excuse to not post.
8.) My word is law.
It was a night unlike any other. The thunderstorm that had reached Century City was loud and full of lightning. Winds were reaching over 40 miles per hour. Trash cans blew down streets, a few trees cracked, and firetruck sirens blasted in the night. But in Titans Tower, all was not as it seemed. The Tower had been full of new faces all week, some had decided to make the Tower their new home, others liked to keep their civilian life separate from the superheroics. Deuce was currently in the War Room, the training area of the T Tower that used advance robotics and 3D holograms to keep the Titans at the top of their game. The room was roughly the size of a gym with several covered openings and panels obviously in place to help with the scenes' holograms and enemies. Nightstar was in a room overhead dubbed "the Nest" by founding Teen Titan Needles. There were the controls, audio and visuals from several spots in the War Room. Including the small restroom the Nest was about the size of a small living room. The only difference being the large control set up on the side looking over the War Room. Nightstar turned on the intercom to talk with the new Titan...
"You really think you're ready for Level 3, Deuce? You've only been at this a week now and it's not like you can create an army..." Nightstar asked.
"Who's next... King Bee? Spartan? Cyclone? I'll take 'em all on!" Deuce taunted putting his hand on his chest and glowing red, creating his copy.
The War Room flashed and flickered before a block of downtown Century City shaped itself into the war room with the 3D holograms. Roughly 10-12 civilians began throwing themselves in harms way as buildings cracked and fell apart. Deuce and his copy used their strength to toss debris and save civilians before the supervillain threat emerged from a hole in the city street. It was Pumpkin Head, a villain who could generate and control plants as well as enslave civilians with pumpkin heads of their own.
